100% Trophy Progress

Hey guys,
Thanks to your help, I've completed career progression (100%). Now trophy progression. Need some help with the following trophys:

1. Who's laughing now - Can't really understand what they ask from me to do
2. By the skin of your teeth - How do I reach to the finish line with 1% or less fuel - With what car, and track?

For Who's Laughing Now:
You have to be in 3rd place or worse in a Championship before the final race but still win the Championship. Easiest way is Novice Championship in Novice Level...

So. During race 1, allow any AI car to win race 1 while you finish 2nd behind him.
Then, during race 2, force that AI car to slow down by leaning on or blocking him. You want another AI - preferably the one that finished 3rd in race 1, to overtake him. You again need to finish 2nd.
This will put you third in the table on 150pt, while the AI that won the races are on 160pt each. That fulfills the first condition of the trophy.
Win the final race. This puts you first on 250pt, while the other AI finish on 235pt and 220pt. That fulfills the second condition of the trophy.

For By The Skin Of Your Teeth:
Enter the Silverstone 10 Lap challenge. Any car that would use all of its fuel before the end of the race will do, but I've done it in both the Audi R8 LMS and the Nissan R35 Touring Car.
Pit after 5 laps. Take on TWO FEWER LITRES OF FUEL than the popup box recommends.
You'll run out of fuel at Vale on the last lap. Coast the last corner and win.

After 5 laps - you mean when lap 5 begins or ends?
And what do you mean when you say "coast the last corner"?

Ends. Hence "after" 5 laps - 5 laps driven, 5 to go.

And what do you mean when you say "coast the last corner"?

Well, when you run out of fuel you don't have any power so the vehicles coasts. You can hit the handbrake briefly to disengage the engine and stop it from engine braking, but at Silverstone it makes almost no difference.

My tip for 0.01s is get the Nissan GT-R R35 Touring Car and enter Arcade Mode, single race, Beginner, 1 lap of Motegi Superspeedway. The speed of the cars means 0.01s is a bigger physical distance (about a wheel's diameter) so you don't have to be quite so close, and the distance and time of the race is so short you can try and try again if you miss without losing too much time.
