I read this news earlier today anyway, I forget where.. might have been IGN.

It's mainly to take advantage of multiple versions and/or paint jobs of the same car, so you could theoretically own every car in the game, and an alternate version of half of 'em. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

Didn't GT3 have a limit to the garage? I never hit it.. I've got maybe eighty cars.

GT3 had a 200 car limit.

Probably not more than 1000 different models, but there will easily be a couple of thousand different cars when you take into account colour variations and levels of modification.

I plan to fill up every single space for a car, too. If it's possible. It depends if there are enough cars to fill in all the space. It was impossible to own every car at the same time in GT3, so it sounds like Kaz is solving this issue.

I like the idea of 1000 cars. Forst time in my GT3 after 100% complete i had about 180 cars. At the moment at 80% I have about 90 cars.

I honestly do hope, that we will be able to sort them out our way ind perhaps in sections/folders or something. Because scrolling for 100 cars in GT3 takes a while, for a 1000 it would take too much-

We need better picture of this, enlarging it does not help. I know it say 1000 cars in garage, I just want to know what rest says. Lower left is probaby the car you are driving currently, lower right is maybe game stats, upper right either current selected car stats or maybe a list of cars in your garage, upper left I have no clue

That is the highest number of cars I have heard also. 650

Subfolders would be interesting : like one for standard cars, one for tuned cars, one for hard tuned cars, one for race cars on slicks, another for race cars on street tyres, one for Skylines and Lancers , etc.

Some people are getting it mixed up. So far there will be AT LEAST 650 DIFFERENT cars in the game. This info says that your garage can hold up to a thousand..which leaves a ton of room for doubles, race modded cars if you to keep them/if they are in the game, and so on.
