1000 cars? I can only see 52

I just need someone to explain to me the car situation. Ive been playing quite abit and im on level 17 but I dont see many cars. Im trying to find a clio 182 but i only see a clio v6 n megane sport in the dealership. I must of seen about 100 cars, thats it. When i go online there is only 52 cars? im just abit confused. People say you have to unlock them by doing a spec events etc which i have been doing but i dont see them in the online selection of cars.

The online thing is recommended, They are stock cars you do not have.
You have to mark cars as favourites to be able to use them online.
As for the dealership, They are premium cars.
The standard cars are in the Used Car Dealership but they come in and out so it may take ages to find specific cars.

U also need to be at certain Lev for some cars
