I'm using a Mini Marcos, fully modded to 200hp. Really fun car, but likes to eat front tires.

I'm going to be doing the Monaco race later today.

I guess you drive with driving aids on...

phfhhh... surely you jest.

Change the oil and turn the TCS, and BOTH oversteer and understeer help off arethe first things I do when I get a car.
I'm telling you, that car is fun to drive. Maybe it really WAS a great car for it's era 💡 .

I just got done driving that car in the European classic league.... the car is hard to handle until you get into 3rd gear or higher (which is the final one, the 4th gear).

I ran it with the 300 Sl first and won going away. the second time I ran the old 54 or something Vette and won handly. I just used the A/C version of the Cobra At the ring for fun and almost lapped the field 2 x. I think I'll try the ginnetta next since it looks like it might be fun. for a real joke the mini marcos might also be fun..it looks like a kids pedal car in most races.

If you use the Marcos, make sure to stick to a bit higher gear in most spots. It really likes to light up the front tires. I had to pit every three laps just for front tires on the Ring.

in the superbird, i left it on 5-overtake and had to pit every other lap

I used the Jag E-Type...man...gotta be my favourite car in the entire game.

I did the 'Ring yesterday...the main contenders were a 300SL and another E-type.

Did Paris today....no close match-ups whatsoever. I lapped the 500L 9 times. It was the Alpha Sprint in 2nd followed by the Carmen Ghia (sp?).

Cote De Azur looks to be a little boring IMO. I think I'm going to be B-Spec that.
Le Sarthe looks fun. can't wait to see the back-runners hitting the Rev limiter at extremely low speeds

Monaco boring. someones been smoking :yuck:

the ginetta would brake badly because if its realistic the car is small and the wheels are too.

I used the '69 Bluebird 1600 Deluxe, fully modded. I built it up early on and used it for many races before I got to the 1000 mile, but it blew the competition away. Cobra didn't show, IIRC the fastest competitor was the E-Type Jag.

I doubt the Ginetta would be competitive stock, unless you really get lucky with what competitors show up.

'61 E-Type Jaguar gets my vote here. Fun car to drive and when you get tired, no problems worrying about wether or not it will perform right in B-Spec mode.

I used Mazda 110 ( 10B ) was the car that I used. fully modded, it did defeat competitors like SL300 and even Cobra.. light, RWD, turbocharged..

Wow I'm surprised no one used the Shelby Mustang 350R? This car is a pos , in arcade mode this care rips! I turned off all driving aids and it still sucked. Oh wel,l Atleast I won:)

I used a stock standard Alfa 1600 Duetto convertible - lots of fun when you are lucky enough to avoid the cobra or 300SL - I had an awesome battle with the Alfa GT sprint around Le Sarthe - I won by 4 seconds over 3.5 hrs of racing! I won by about 45seconds around the ring as well. Always close racing and a real challenge.

Untuned E-type man i loved these races, My arms ached a bit after but man i loved it. Had a grin from ear to ear. :D

European races - 1000 miles, well thats the one im talking about anyway.

Unmodified cars
up to 1970 models
300,000 credits for a win

loved every minute of it, there are also 1000km races at Suzuka & Fuji, this is on the PAL eneyway duno about NTSC n that.

Ah yes, i see now. Erm can I enter all of the races seperately and still get the 300k prize and the Alfa Giulia prize car, or do i have to do all of them in order entering via GT Series?

duno, i just sat there and did the whole thing "via GT Series" took me a while but boy was it fun.

Out of curiosity, would a Ginnetta be competative in this series unmodded, or would I have to boost the HP?

I only bought the custom gearbox on the Ginetta and it was more than competative.
Rubbish A-spec points though... :indiff:

Ok,

Ive just completed the set of races and what an excellent set too.. I used my E-Type Jag and cleaned up.

It takes along time, I done alot of A-Spec but I also used B-Spec... But the money makes up for the time

Superb

1970 Stingray stock.
The E-Type ket up but fell behind and battled with a 300SL.

The Fiat 500R just went last. It seemed just as slow as a Subaru 360.
