Alright guys, I'm taking over from mt00 and as such I'm revamping the whole format of this thing. No longer will it be restricted to just the top times, there will STILL be the OVERALL TOP 30..........however, just like the 1/4 mile thread there is going to be a category for every division (FR, MR/RR, FF, 4WD, Race Cars, NO NITROUS!!) So no longer will you be restricted to a select few cars to use. So, to make it plain and simple......it's all back on boys and girls. 👍 Here's the new version of the 1000m thread, and I welcome you ALL to get your names in lights.

Of course. :cool: All the challenges (400m, 1000m, 300mph) have to have photo proof!!

And another point, I only ask for the pics, not video aswell, so I think that's pretty fair. The only other way I would even consider it for people without photo proof is a full disclosure of their setup for everyone to prove/disprove.
 
Gave this a quick shot earlier today, hit a 14.471 @ 398km/h with the TVR. Although I may be able to improve it thanks to a really nice person sending a PM to me. :). Will be back later with times.

Edit: 14.198 @ 400km/h still using my setup. And I hit 8.24x on the 400m mark! Pic here. The secret is how i'm launching.

Done a 14.895 with Nissan Skyline GT-R v-Spec II nur '02. Forgot to take a pic :ouch: unless you'll accept the podium times thingy? If not, got a pic of a 14.917 in the same car:

It's been six months since i've been here... :lol:. Good to see somebody bumped this place. Just then I got a low 13 with my Toyota 7. But i've screwed up the gearing, i'm hitting 7.6's on the 1/4. :mad: I'll try something more user-friendly and return later :)
 
With juice I bet my Spirra will kick some major ass. I just gotta completely redo the gearing. I got it crossing the line at 172mph, it hits the fuel cut off at about 172.5 lol
