12:00 or 12:01?

Ok, I've been a little confused lately on when AM changes to PM and PM changes to AM. Is it 12:00, or 12:01? I've had some people say its 12:00 and others say its 12:01. Like 12:00 at night, AM or PM?

I would guess that your current operating system would be correct. Why not due a little test your self and report the results.

Set your clock on your computer to 11:59 AM and see if it switches to PM when it rolls over to 12:00.

Well with Windows XP, the A.M. rolled to P.M. at 12:00.0 exactly.

So, 11:59:59 is the last second before it switches to the next 12 hour period.

Yep. All the stupid clocks put 12 as pm, but the truth is 12 is noon. Hell, even the stupid clocks put 12 on the night, when the correct time would be 0:00.
