With the PSN down, I've got a new found love with the Formula Gran Turismo Championship. Here's a video of me intentionally starting in last place and working myself up to 1st. I reduced the power of my FGT to 900hp and only ran on racing hard tires (to be equal to the A.I.). I maintained the lead after lap 7 so the video is cut short since there is no further action.
This video showcases
* A.I. weak points including brake checking and failure to accelerate
* Rubber banding. Cars are slow until you pass them.
* My mediocre driving. I missed lots of brake zones, spun the tires, but still managed to keep it on the track.
I highlighted my tune at the beginning. Going with 2.5 camber in the rear is a bit extreme for this course. Those who are a little throttle happy might be better with 1.0-1.5. However, the high rear camber allows you to carve high speed turns without breaking rear traction. It also gives you more predictable traction through slow turns. Its more beneficial at Cote d'Azur but works fine here too.
