Not bad at all, my friends almost stock 180sx (just cat back exhaust and filter) got a 13.7 @ 102mph. Same time but you have 2 mph on it.

man i was not expectign that time at all with my leak. my fastest mph was 105 but i got that when i ran a 14.0 lol later that night it got really cold and that dense air through my tune off bad sputtered a bit

Faster than my Skyline. :) I'd say my GTS-4 will only manage a high 15 (at best) or some time in the 16's.

Nice run Biggamehit, congratulations 👍

I'm pretty sure a GTS4, even an auto should run a 14 Mustang-man, have you ever been to the track to find out?

High 15's..... as Revheadnz said I think it should do better than that.

dude you wanna trade for the skyline lol ( yea right you say). man i cant wait untill im shiiiped to japan. gts-t will be my first purchase, i have wanted an skyline for the last 8 years. I got the chance to drive and work a few and been around alot of them as shows and meets etc

thanks

You should come to NZ instead, there are probably more GTS-ts over here than there are in Japan ;)

Probably true, when I went to Japan I didn't see all that many R32 GTS-t's, but quite a few R32 GTR's and all model types of R33/34's.

hopefully by the time i get to japan all bills will be paid. Im aware that gt-r's in ok shape still cost a bit, i should be able to afford one there, and the airforce will ship it back for free. my thing is i dont want an AWD car so if i got it i would convert it so FR. dont wanna have to worry about breaking transfer case becuase trust me the car will be driven like it was ment to be. i hate to see all these babied skylines here. My buddy drifts his Gts-t almost every other week in competitions.

yea NZ has a big deal of skylines, A31 etc.

also i dont know if we have a base in NZ

If you want a RWD GTR no need to do any converting, just buy a aftermarket torque splitter and set it on 100% RWD, or set it up how you want.

Or just pull out the fuse beside the steering wheel. My car can be made rear wheel drive by just pulling out the fuse too. Haven't tried it yet, though there is a grasskhana coming up soon so might get to try it out there.

You can only do this on the R32 GT-R's and GTS-4's though, if you do it to the R33 and R34 varients they will likely break something?

And i'm remaining very conservative with my estimations of the cars 1/4 mile time so that i don't get too disappointed. Same deal with the dyno run. Both will be done eventually.

Yes thats why I mentioned the after market torque splitter, pulling the fuse on a R33/34 wont make it 100% RWD.

yea and VCD controller is kinda costly

im aware of the fuse that disable the Atessa-ets system. part of the wieght issue with the R32 GT-R is it beefy Drivetrain lol. if i got the Gts-t i would pull the fuse to disable 4wd so that my back wheels stay straight. when i drove my buddies skyline i didnt like it at all.

I mean seriouly if i can afford to get an GT-R once there, ill def buy it hands down. Ill also collect extra parts and send them home such as transmissions and transfer cases. they will break befor trannie does most of the time.

dude i was the same way about my time, u never wanna go to low becuase u will be dissapointed. man i estimated about 14. 5 with my leak. and when i got that damn ticket i was banging the steering wheel in joy.

VCD controllers are all that costly, no more than the other popular mods people do to there cars, but yeah on a ATESSA-ETS R32 just pull the fuse and save the money if you want RWD only.

I assume you mean the 4WS, not all GTS-t's are fitted with HICAS, I am suprised you even noticed it, HICAS only comes into play at higher speed cornering. Also if you want to disable it you really need a lock bar then get an alignment to make sure there is no toe.

If you havent noticed yet I am also a Skyline owner.

Four wheel steering can be a bit of a detriment around a racetrack. A mate of mine took his GTS-4 manual coupe around a racetrack two hours north of here and while taking a couple of tight but fast corners the car kept getting loose/sideways due partially to the four wheel steering. Personally i like it even though i probably haven't had the chance to use it properly yet.

Sideways? It shouldn't have been doing that.

Then again I have only driven the electric HICAS not the Hydraulic type that R32's have.

The 4WS shouldn't be causing that. Is the suspension in his car modified at all? Because the R32s aren't known for great traction when you try to put the power down, especially when they are lowered, it screws up the camber even more so.

The corners were shaped like this, arrow shows the direction.

Not quite as sharp as that but i think he was carrying a little too much speed most times which made the car get sideways, apparently exaggerated or something by the 4WS? I may have gotten what he said wrong a little as it took place in June but he did say something about the four wheel steering.

Ah, OK, I misunderstood you. :dunce: I was reading it like he was getting sideways on his way out of the corner but re-reading it I get what you were saying.
