Well theres a Supra, with 1,600hp, and that would have a chance. The Supra almost can run 5s, lows 6s. But that Mustang must be very very very fast. Props to who ever did that.

But that is not a Mustang though and its a dedicated drag car where 1500whp is expected.

Power means nothing if you cant get it down the track or have the control or grip. Than Buick GN ran a 7.97 on a stock frame and suspenion

Top Fuel's record is a 4.437 and the Pro Stock cars run the top half of 6. I doubt a street car of any kind is going to go anywhere near that...
