16P Kart Race Nurburging (24h Layout) 4 Laps

Hello everyone,

As the title says, I am planning to have a 16 player kart race on the Nurburgring 24h circuit.

As I am playing in the Asia region, my time is GMT +0800, hence a schedule will have to be made on when the room opens in the open lobby.

This race is just for fun, so join even if you are a rookie. The in-game time for the track would be set to 0530, with a time progression of 1, light mechanical damage, Sunny weather (dynamic), no regulations on the assist, although no assists is preferred.

EDIT: A preliminary race would be held with the current list, today, February 6 2011, at 0000h GMT +8, 1100h GMT -5, 0100h GMT+9.
Room number would be put up 10-5 minutes before said time.

Be prepared to run a race of about 45 minutes. Sounds like fun to me, but time on-line doesn't work so well. Hope you get a full field.

Yeah the race would last about 45-55 minutes judging from the lap times (about 10-15 minutes each). A shorter race of 2 or 3 laps could be arranged if you don't want to stay online for too long.

Time is set at 0000h GMT+0800 for now. That would make it 1100h at GMT -0500. Please let me know if the time is alright. Arrangements can be made for a different time as long as it is a reasonable time for all parties participating. Date is to be set, although as soon as possible is preferred. We'll have to wait for a full house.

Game room number will be posted on the first post when the room is opened.

A lap of the Nurburgring 24h layout takes 12-15 minutes, and since the kart tires seem to last pretty long, along with it's fuel, 4 laps would be an hour maximum. The worst case would mean one pitstop, making it 1 hour and 5 minutes. Are you in or are you out?

I think you'll need to pit at least once.

It's a lot of fun to run in a pack of 7 or 8 clean drivers through this track.

Actually it's a lot of fun running in a pack of 7 or 8 clean drivers on any track!
