So people... Time for race 2 of the 1970s Vintage Cup!!!

And we go to the beautiful Laguna Seca in Monterey California!!!!

Get your priceless vintage racecars ready for some really close racing and come have as much fun as you can!!!

Race time again 16:30 GMT (correct this time Hessi...;))

Yes it is Skulus... Room Open.

P.S.: Room No. 1472 - 6118 - 4216 - 8218 - 7789

Sorry to have missed the race. Internet was down due to hurricane Irene :grumpy:

Sorry you missed it because of that CC570... It was a great race. 25 laps of Laguna Seca and until lap 22 me and Novi were less than half a second apart... Absolutely brilliant...

OK... Next Sunday it's race 3 and 40 laps of the Tsukuba Circuit... That is going to be one tough race!!!

P.S. Irene... Tell me about it... Good name for a hurricane...
(Joke... I hope noone was hurt in that hurricane...)

I may join you guys at Tsukuba if I ever find a car I enjoy driving. What were the results?

Would be nice to see you there asdfg... As for the car... Pick a car you like looking at, or listening to, and I'll give you a setup to make it a lot better to drive... Same goes for everyone guys... Setup advice is free... If I can help...

As for the results. Sadly, due to various issues only 4 of us started the race...Skulus and karim with 2002 Turbos, me with the Europa and Novi with the Stratos. After some fierce competition, with everyone having at least 1 moment, we ended up having a extreme battle with Novi in the closing stages of the race. but he paid for his Ferrari V6 torque with increased tyre wear and a half spin which gave me a 6 second breather in lap 23/25...

tfed, name registered... When you choose a car, make sure you have checked the special restrictions at the end of the OP...

Also, we have a new entry to the series... His PSN ID is karim-talgo. He is a friend of Skulus. I am not sure he will follow the series but I'll put his name in the entry list and keep a slot open for him in the races...

Sure thing my man

BTW, has anyone else noticed that the OCD is full of cars for this series... And with the low amount of mods allowed, it's the best-fun-for-credits you can get!!!

Apart from the marketing BS... I was thinking of implementing a mandatory pit-stop. The reason for this is that we have heavy damage. So, if you get damaged and pit you will only lose the time it cost you on track, because everyone else will have to pit once, too... It's sort of a get out of jail really really cheap card...

Also, if we are to do this, pit stops that do not involve damage reapair will have to be done within a certain pit window. However, damage repair stops will count towards the mandatory stop regulation...

What do you guys think? Worth doing??? I think it'll keep some guys from leaving after a big shunt...

Hi guys... Today is the 3rd race of the series... 40 gruelling laps of the Tsukuba Circuit!!!

There will be a mandatory pit stop implemented... So please be careful in the race. Unless there is damage to be repaired, the pit stop must take place between laps 15-25!!!

Room name and number will be posted here in a few minutes...
