Hmm. Do I spy anything that starts with an R and rhymes with Must? Dare I say . . . rust?!

Yeah, it's got some exterior rust here and there. Coke and aluminum foil took care of that though. :)

Yeah same on mine. But the stuff that I mainly have is on the exaust, but at least some of that will be taken care of because I have new heater boxes, just have to finally put them in.

A friend of mine used to have a similar aged Beetle, it was great fun to drive with those skinny tyres on. I remember once when i was driving it, i came out of a tight 90 degree corner, putting the power down a early to see if i could get the back end out a little, next thing i know i'm sliding at right angles to the road with arms full of opposite lock - in the centre of town!

If you ever fancy owning a 911 at some point in your life, buy yourself an older beetle first and get used to the weight distribution (and floor mounted pedals!)

Nice car, Giancarlo, I´m from Brazil and I have a 65´blue, almost stock, engine 1200, 75.000 kms originals. In Brazil we have very beetles still in use and various clubs, I´m a member of the local Clube do Fusca (Beetle). check too the site www.hoodride.com , very cool !
