1997 supra RZ tuning setups?

I've found the Supra to be fairly stable by itself, but with any lower gear ratio and a burst of the Nitro's, it'll run a lot quicker. However, with that, you also want to look at at least a sports or better suspension system, this baby will rock like a cradle if you don't take care of that. Make sure the dampeners a about average, and the shocks themselves fairly hard. That'll give you the most stability.
Be careful though, if you're not a very experienced driver, I'd suggest turning traction control to 1 or 2 if you mess with the shockies.

Try fiddling with the LSD, that should reduce the wheelspin a bit, and have the same gear ratios with out sacrificing the acceleration too much compared to lengthening the gear ratios. What you will need to do (I suggest changing the auto set) is make the gears longer as the gear ratios will be set up for 300 hp, not 700-800 hp.

well, i have the gears set up to where i'm hitting 250 w/o nitrous, and with i'm almost hitting 290. i'm trying to make it to 300, but if i run the gears any longer than what they are, 6th gear just drops down and i lose all power in 6th. i have an esprit 25th anniversary on there that the gears are as long as they get, and i run into 5th gear at nearly 290, and the second i hit 5th, i hit my nitrous until 6-7K rpms and then my turbo kicks in and i run it up to almost 350, before it has to run back down. it's my fast car! :P

hey guys if you need there is a tuning in my garage for the MK4 Supra RZ full tune that is hella quick and semi managable.
