i updated because i'm using the picture as an entry in the other comp [reflections was the theme, so.. i changed it to something a little more suited.. 2000 Viper GTS-R

yea, i remember that shelby shot, so i was thinking it was infineon.

has anyone heard of photoimpression5? it's an editing sftware i have, but i'm not sure if it's any good

oh you mean the photo? :D

I took it at the Las Vegas drag strip for the PMC 25 shoot but ended up with something better for that theme ;) However this is a perfect opportunity to use it in all its photoshopped glory! :)

nice shot of the commodore jacoja 👍 in fact nice work everyone, I'm glad I don't have to pick a top 10!
 
Hmm brock, a bit too photoshopped for me... Well it's great the way it is, but in the comps I prefer more photograph and brush up quality, you know. That doesn't mean I'm against it! I just not tend to vote for those things, that's all. :p (that's just an opinion, not really 'advice', you know).

well this is the Advanced PhotoMode Competition ;) All I've done to the shot is adjust the levels to bring out the contrast & colour, put a motion blur on the road and a blur filter over the car to soften it, plus a bit of time cleaning up blocky groups of pixels. I consider myself a novice with photoshop and everything I've learned has been from Pixeljunkynz's clean-up tutorial and from looking at other people's entrys here. If I have acted outside the guidelines for this competition I apologise and promise not to try so hard in the future :/

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your entry Brock. It looks great, it's just other's opinions. I myself like the soft focus and contrast your shot has. And I also really like how you have matched the border with the 2 dominant colors in the shot. Looks really nice!👍

I wouldn't place any bets yet, there are a number of equally good if not better composed shots on the first few pages, plus the usual killer entries from the usual suspects :)
