2.3 user change log

I'm in the UK and the update is not showing yet :-(
 
You can now race the Mini Cooper S 2011 in the Profession Series "Mini Challenge".
 
Just to get my 2 penn'th in, version numbering isn't necessarily the same as decimals, although I still wouldn't assume 2.3 and 2.03 were interchangeable. It almost doesn't matter what the reference is as long as everyone agrees what the convention is. We have a numbering system on one of our databases that began with version 2.0.0.0

Me to, most disappointed after jumping out of bed at 5.30 am. Thought it would be good to go after the planned maintenance

They even stuck the Countryman in the entry requirements too. 👍

Exactly, I thought it would be live from 4am. I Tweeted Kaz to ask when it will be live in Europe but no reply yet...

AI drivers get what's called the "Free To Drive Any Car Pass":sly:

Well the new seasonal has some drivers using dlc cars =D smoke a jaggies are less noticeable now. at least in the pictures that i have taken and the filter bug got fixed.

it will be available in around 4-6 hours * all updates hit PCT around 8-10 the day before the announced day* please do not post until the update is out :)
please ignore the dumb decimal argument regarding 2.3 and 2.03 and post below and if you here arguing about decimals edit your post when you find a change please...

and? the update dose not have a set release time and 2.03 and 2.3 are the same thing the 0 is a place holder for example there and be a 2.01 and a 2.15
PD just chooses to go thru 01-09 so your wrong..

Try reading the AUP again and see if it reminds you of what you agreed to do when you joined this site.

Well Grammar Nazi, I'd like to point out that it's improper to have a full-stop after 'decimals' in that context, you should have a comma instead; it keeps it flowing.

Now, I'll actually be on topic (which is in the AUP by the way), and say I haven't noticed anything, mainly because it hasn't come out for PAL regions yet.

2.03 is equal to 2.3. 2.03 is a convention used because file systems will sort 2.3 after 2.10, even though 2.3/2.03 was released first.

It has just limited usefulness. If you have more than a 100 minor versions, then you'll get 2.100 sorted before 2.99.

p.s.2.3 is not equal to 2.30.

Back on topic, here's the change list:

12 new My Home theme colours and 12 new wallpapers for [GT Mode] have been added to the game. Please select these from the [My Home Settings] - [My Home Design] menu on the left side of the screen.
- Tyre wear speed prediction has been added to the pit stop decisions in B-Spec, to prevent tyres from wearing out completely during long races.
- Regenerative braking (which recovers energy by converting kinetic energy into electricity) in electric cars has been made stronger to extend driving range.
- Electric cars will now also creep forward (as with standard automatic cars) when the brake is released without pressing the accelerator.
- The increased performance due to the downforce produced by the fan is now calculated in the performance points of the Chaparral 2J race car.

[Correction of Known Issues]
- A issue has been corrected where the car would pit in unintentionally during the last lap of a B spec race.
