What....All i saw was a bentley speed 8 going in circles around me...no worries about the incident at the porsche curves.... You were "pulling a gap" while I was saving tires. I was doing 10 lap stints on the soft tires yet you were needing to pit on lap 7.....That would have gave you more pitstops than me.
I won the thing anyway :)

I'm disappointed I didn't finish the race myself but I just got really annoyed with myself for consistent errors, tyres were holding out for about 14 laps at a time but I kept messing up badly by skimming barriers or what have you so I was in the pits before they lasted that long lol. Just posting again because I don't want to be labelled as an idiot or a waster, if I didn't stop then I probably would have smash a controller haha.

If you do another Nurb one I'll join up for that, I much prefer the Nurburgring :)

Also what was the payout like? Any good?
 
Thanks every one who took part, especially the 7 people who completed the race.We had a full room at the start, with alot of moaning and complaining but trying to run an online room with 16 people is hard work. You cant please everyone and I did want I have experienced in previous endurance events.

I knew the 1st lap would be a mess but once all the muppets had left we settled down to some decent racing.

1 thing I will say is that I believe I made the right choice on damage. Le Mans is a fast and wide circuit so it suited heavy damage. I was tapped on the 1st lap and sustianed some damage but it was minimal so I was able to carry on for another 4 laps with only minor wheel vibration. It really does sort the men from the boys But hater are always gonna hate!

When I get a chance I will upload some photos but im watching the real Le Mans 24 so please bare with me.

Also watch out for another (2)4 Hour endurance at Nurburging 24Hour circuit comming soon
 
Isnt this race idea completely copied from the (2)4 hours of Le Mans that I attempted to hold a few months ago and then only me and two others turned up late and then Loskey1 turned up late for the race and then just left?
 
its a four hour race yes, just like the nurburgring one that I held, I decided that as it was the real Le Mans race weekendit would be perfect. I always find a friday night race is more popular then a saturday day race,
I did copy the thread title from you ,i.e (2)4 hour Le Mans, i liked that alot ;-)

Having been a former teammate of Ghova for the short lived TVR season 2...I highly doubt he would do anything not in the best interest of a race. I've never seen him have an incident like you're describing. He's focused even in practice. I could see him getting bored and exiting if he's as far ahead as I presume he can be on that course. Maybe some bizarre PSN loose end than kept his car on the track for a second or two, a sort of remainder and it appears as if he drived off the road?

I realize I'm commentating on an event I know nothing about and was not apart of so take this backing of Ghova how you want. :sly:

Im only telling you what i saw. Saying that i didnt see him wreck would be lying. The gap was only 8 seconds and i was saving tires for 10 laps stints while im sure he was thrashing his tires and spun in the porsche curves on old tires.


Heres this in fact!. He wrecked on the 7th lap at the Porsche curves and i had no where to go behind him and it gave me damage. Ghova made a mistake there too. he then apologized for that as well. So im tred if people tell me he's perfect blah blah blah. If he is so perfect why isn't he a real race car driver. Everyone makes mistakes. He's not a god. Regardless of what you guys know him for he made two mistakes that i saw

IN this first clip i created i show you the tire waer difference between me and GTP_Johny after six laps. Keep in mind the gap is only 8 second between us at this point.I saved my tires and as you can see. Watch the position change in the reaplay. When it says 1/14 that is GTP_Johny's car. When it says 2/14 that is my car. You can see the dramatic difference in tire wear and how i was going to be able to go alot longer but he hit me and i got damage I flip back and forth between my car and his car and show you the difference in tire wear.





In this clip GTP_Johny crashes in the porsche curves on lap 6 of the 4h our lemans enduro. Yes indeed has made a mistake but unfortunately i got caught in it tooo and was forced to pit. Made all by himself. So no he's not perfect! Near the end you can see e in the GT-one hit him broadside because i had no where to go after his two wrecks






In this clip this is the crash i saw right before GTP_Johny quit the race on Lap 9. Not even 10 laps. i wasnt quick enough becsue i thought this happened on lap 10 and not lap 9 but i captured the ending of i. This is out of the first chicane in the mulsannes on the second straight.
 
Blaze u are correct on ure tyre wear and the 2 clips but the crash at the mulsanne straight i was planning to leave and weaved and crashed i was planning to do it before coz the race was plain boring with me and you having a significant lead over the others.

But you didn't finish before anyone's race strategy came in to effect i.e pit stops , fuel and tyres so you may have been ahead at that point , but after 60 laps is hard to say . We could all go out and hot lap , but it wasn't that type of race .
