i saw the second one great video of new tracks and its great to see the clio sport is back. but still disopointed they dont hace a lot of new cars yet they are still using the 206 rally car in 1999 coulour.
 
That is also something I cannot understand... Why don't they use a newer livery for the 206? Licensing?? :confused:
 
couldn't get the first one up, it sayed "forbidden" for some reason.
 
Wow that gt4-2.mpg movie is really sweet. Man I think I will be doing quite a bit more rallying in GT4. Those replays look so much like real life its amazing.
 
One thing is bothering me since I saw that vid: when was this test day?

Because this designer says at 1 point: "We hope to be ready in about six months!"

But as there was this interview in EVO of June, and the mag was in the stores half may, it shouldn't be a problem, they would have to be ready by now then.

I saw it first at granturismo.com, and there I chose "save target as", so I've actually have it on my harddrive. But I don't think I'll be able to mail or something as it's about 58 MB.

I think it doesn't work here because it's actually a .zip file of a .avi.
So you'd better download it, I think it would work then. (right click and save target as)

PS: Just checked and it still works at granturismo.com, it's the thread under misc and future, with the "14 min video about UK test days"
 
in the second vid at around 1:03, does the car infront try to get outta the way of the other car? i sure hope so, and hope its the CPU. it would mean that the AI consists of priority now, but of course, the car in the back still plowed the other guy outta the way, but atleast its a start.
and ya, if the first vid is the interview vid, then the physics modelling guy, i think, said that it should all be done in 6 months.
 
OMG! U KNOW WHAT!!! looks like they FINALY changed the rally for a point to point event :D!!!!! I hope so hope so ! erm... n-e-wayz it would be great and really really more realistic

Nice video, as for the cars well kinda dissapointing....

Pretty sure all of em are in either GT3/GTC except the impreza, I've got a bad feeling that GT4 will 'only' in reality have 250 new cars :|

The other 250 being from GT3/GTC, if thats the case then GT4 will suck.... I hope the 500+ cars are mostly on top of those we've already had.

That's the best video I've seen yet.
The slower cars look as though they're actuallly going some, which is a first.
 
I hate the first, listening in french is sooo boring, i want to know about the game and i cant understand it, the second video is good, but it needs to show off newer cars, like the new gt40 race car for example (which it showed).

i dont think its point to point the rally track is just real big

i wish even some of the road tracks were point to point like it was in need for speed 1
 
noooo! no races actually are like that (and nfs are the most unrealistic games ever made!) and it looks like the rally racing as been ajusted to 1 at a time and point to point (like in real life)
 
i didnt say all tracks i meen a couple

and NFS 1 wasnt like the others it had good cars and (like corvette ZR1, supra, RX7, ferrari 512TR etc)
the game wasnt over the top and didnt handle like boats
i bought it for my sega saturn years ago
 
dont judge the first NFS on the rest of the crappy ones because the others were nothing like the first one
 
Hmm also in the 2nd video the MR2's still got its soft top up :(

And yeah its pretty stupid all the rally cars having out of date paint schemes. Particually the 206
 
hopefully you can choose to have the top up or down
 
the first video had horrible music and i also was mad i could not understand what they are saying. but nether the less, i watched it.

I can't believe you think GT4 will suck if it ONLY has 250 new cars. God forbid it if they only add 10 new tracks. What more do you want! I suppose you want NOS too; I guess there is no pleasing you.

NOS is gay.

Yeah I think it will suck if it advertises 500 cars & 250 are rehashes from GT3/GTC, why would I want to spend £35 on the same game?
 
i believe there will be about 200 rehashes from GT3/GTC
even with 300 or so new ones that will be more than it looks
 
Well I hope out of the the 300 new uns more than 100 are non-Japanese.

I'd really like to see some everyday euro/us cars like in GT2.
