Since the last update there is at least 2" of play in my Logitech DFGT (Driving Force GT) wheel. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have tried various adjustments with the new settings in options, but nothing seems to effect any change to the looseness. My cars all sway around now - even travelling in a straight line, and of course, the faster I drive, the more pronounced it becomes.

I have the G27 and there is no play in the wheel. Try resetting your wheel options. (I think that's what you do, I don't play with those settings much :p)

First how old is your wheel? Secondly, when it calibrates does it completely center after calibration or does it hang to the left or right 2 inches? If so and your wheel is getting some years it may be going bad. Also, if readjusting wheel settings doesn't help and replugging it in doesnt help you may have to contact Logitech support. They will more than likely send you a brand new replacement DFGT when you ship the old one back. I had to do this about 3 months ago when mine quit centering after calibration. I had that one since GT5 Prolouge, I called them and they arranged for me to recieve a brand new DFGT free of charge, it only took 2 weeks to get considering I had to ship the old one back first so technically a week to recieve new one. And I have to say man the force feedback was amazing on a brand new wheel.

DFGT user here and I find wheel much more responsive (ffb more vibrant) after last update and no additional "dead zone play" you've mentioned. Got my wheel setup on FFB torq. = 4 and FFB sens.= 8 .

If you got a chance , plug a wheel in a PC and check it out with Logitech Profiler.

The wheel is a replacement of my first wheel which developed a fault and is about 10 months old, I think. It still centres as it should when it is switched on - no change there. I shall try connecting it to Logitech's site if there is possibly a way to check the calibration there, as was suggested by another respondent to my post. Thank you for your response AR.

Thanks Greg. I tried your settings, and it softened the feel when the edges of the dead-zone were reached, but still there. I am about to move this PC to connect my wheel to Logitech's site as you suggest. I'll let you know what happens.

To answer your question; yes brother. :-)
