2 player TCS help

In 2player mode, when i go to choose a car off memory card one, and i choose one of my cars i use in GT mode... Why doesn't it have TCS? And then, player 2, say they choose a normal car, not one of the ones i use in GT mode, they dont have TCS either... Whats up with this? Can i stop it from doing this?
