Which questions do you want me to ask Taku Imasaki?

They are terrible, inaccurate. They should be fixed.
How does that tie into what we drive?
Yes they are bad, but they would not stop me from having fun with the game.

AI (slowdown and pit strategy), awful races (to short, stupid opponent selection), low difficulty, ~5 big bugs and the way how online works at the moment do (stop me from having fun).

So for me it would be much more interesting if and when they are going to fix the bugs, if they plan on improving the career or add some challenge to the game or introduce some matching to online than to know if they gonna improve sound or not.

Improved sound will not make me buy a PS4 and GT7, only good gameplay would.

Event Creatorrrrr!!!! (Puts sword high into the air)

..Oh man BIG UPS to @ron86 for wording those questions so well! 👍

Now, if only we could get some relevant answers or even an admission of intent to bring this stuff up during the next conference call to Fukouka..

I think they needed another reminder about the sounds for sure; otherwise the "placeholder" remark would have died a silent death after a couple of months, with only a bunch of folk on GTplanet complaining (they don't seem to pay attention to us anyway).

Livery editor no chance; that would take too much code all you will get is a "maybe" for GT7...

i hope they were working on it all along but couldnt finish it in time.. so they decided to add it with an update
but thats just me wishing because i really want one

livery .... (sigh) .... i never see the outside of my car in GT ... :ill: ....

But thumbs up for the democratic approach!👍

Thanks @ron86. I appreciate that you tried to be fair to everyone. The only question of the 3 that I, personally, care about is the event creator, but I am happy just that one of the things I care most about is/was asked. Can't wait to hear the answers! 👍👍

Can't believe career mode extension DLC wasn't even an option though... considering how short career is. Like more/ extended championships and race events.. (not Seasonals)

why pay for a dlc when its possible to have an event creator , you can make unlimited races for your self
I was going to answer in that way too, sort of. But actually I want both.

It's true that an Event Maker would provide endless fun, making up our own races, series and championships, maybe whole mini-seasons - surely both offline as well as online. But I want to see PD flesh out the Single Player campaign with more events and series, like they had in GT4. Manufacturer's Cup races would be marvelous additions. Special missions... as long as they made sense and weren't infuriating. :P

Old tracks, oh dear lord, why? :(
Because they're good, like Apricot Hill - and even better, and many of us want them.

You... NEVER look at the outside of your car in a GT game?? I guess you think the Photo Mode guys are too addicted to car porn. ;)

1. Kazunori Yamauchi mentioned a few months before the launch of GT6 that he and his team is working on another way for soundreproduction. What is your direction and planning in regards to sound in GT6, can we expect more changes in that area, as the new RedBull cars were a hint of Polyphony's new sound (That one sounds amazing :D )? Can we eventually expect changes on the sound department in GT6?

2. The ability of customization and adding a personal artistic flair to cars have been mentioned before, specifically a livery editor, can we expect anything in the future for GT6 (or GT7) in terms of editing like creating custom colours, painting different parts of the cars or putting liveries on it?

Question 1 doesn't make sense...and what's the last part of the question about? Question 2 makes more sense but not much... I hope these translate okay. Going from English to Japanese and back is quite difficult (or so my translator friends tell me) because of way the verbs work. You should polish them up before submitting them!

He's the US producer, so it would be a disgrace if he wouldn't talk english :D

You boys at the back, stop squabbling.

The questions seem fine to me and while not quite perfect, the English is fine.

Taku lives in the San Francisco bay area and speaks excellent English.

I don't know, if question 1 means what it actually says then it's impertinent at best and rude at worst. Asking about staffing changes due to the sound quality is a bit over the top in my opinion, " What is your direction and planning in regards to sound in GT6, can we expect more changes in that area,..can we eventually expect changes on the sound department in GT6?"

Clearly he means "in" the sound department, it's common mistake for people learning English but even so I don't think the community has any right to ask that or to expect an answer.

With "sound department" i didnt mean the guys who work on the sound but simply the "category: Sound" of GT6 - if we can expect any changes of the sound(engine) in GT6!

Ah, I see. You should probably have asked that instead then... and sorry for not realising that the chap you were asking the questions to spoke English. I guess I'm used to PD reps always having a translator ;)

Thanks for doing this Ron, it gives us hope we can get our feelings across about where the community would like improvements.

Frankly I'm astonished that sounds & livery editor are more important than how the game plays to people. Do the sound voters just sit with eyes closed revving the car instead of racing? Do the livery voters draw sketches of the cars instead of racing? Seriously? You are either too superficial or you think the rest is perfect. Whilst sounds and livery editor would improve the overall experience and would be welcome there is no point having nice icing on your cake when the cake is stale.

Whilst I do think GT6 is great in many ways, the areas that it falls down most are the gameplay areas like career mode, ai and overall difficulty. Plus there seems to be nothing really new about GT6 like there has been in every other version.

But I play online almost all the time so don't really care as much about career mode and AI. While the AI is poor and I agree it needs improving it's just not as much of a priority to me.

Better online car limiting options are probably the most important to me along with a livery editor and marketplace but I can still understand that people want other things.
