From what I could and with my best guess, I think the second video was a demonstration of how proper driving makes a difference in times. First run was very clean and smooth, but the second run was with the rear end hanging out on every turn, losing more than 5 seconds.
Those are from the Prologue DVD. The first one is a snippet of an interview with KY. Its the same words and the same racing helmet in the foreground. The images of the cars that are laid over the top are different, but that must be at least 8 months old!
The second one is directly from Prologue, with no changes. It is demonstrating the lift off throttle technique, going through the slalom. If you don't lift off and try too aggressively, the car gets out of shape and a lot of time is lost.
I can remember the first KY interview quite well, he says things like, the racing line is the line the car wants to take round the track...interesting approach
