Europe. Otherwise I would have said an EU country. There aren't too many non-EU car producers in Europe but it's more likely than not.

But... they never sold that as the Ford Fusion in Europe, it was sold as the Mondeo there.

Well I wasn't sure what to say to that question since there's no rule stating what should be said, but I feel like "yes" was a more appropriate answer than "no" since it was sold in Europe, even under a different name.
