I understand earnings are suppose to be valuable but its a bit too realistic when it mirrors the real world economy these days...

I agree. In game currencies shouldn't be realistic. They should be balanced.
 
I have no problem with this exploit. Especially since the body rigidity deteriorates extremely fast and costs a fortune to fix. Really pisses me off. Nice we can counter this money grabbing attempt with this glitch.
 
How long does 1.01 update take you guys to download? Takes me about 10 minutes.

I'm running on satellite internet and it takes me one hour or if I connect with my phone it's 30 mins.
 
Bet you guys all feel great for cheating. But that is an absolute game killer. No fun at all for you now. Sorry.

Just having fun and enjoying GT6 and GTP. I must say it is a nice transition now from GT5. Doing career is more enjoyable for me with cars I like, and able to tune. I got the cars I really wanted and left my self a little extra tuning money. Besides the Muira which I bought first most cars were "fairly" cheap. I mean I traded in 3 games (including GTA V which was full of griefers and blahblah) got 15th Anniv. and a $20 PSN card which I donated to PD.
 
There is no cheating we are just reacquiring the cars that we bought in GT5 :)
It is PDs fault for not allowing us to carry our garage from the previous game.
 
What's the easiest method, buying 20 mercs? or any other easier method been found ? It takes me 5 minutes to download patch and I think around 5 as well to instal.

I was not going to even buy the game but when I learned there was a viable alternative to the grind, I went and bought it.
 
I read on the other thread, where someone was saying after downloading the latest patch for BMW M4 where they could not do it anymore. Not sure if it's true, still at work.
 
C'mon, I need to have this game so I can get all the cars I want so I can make gratuitous car porn with them!!!!!!!! :mad:

Spending mind numbing amounts of time grinding quite tedious AI races just to buy one decent racing car*, or fork out even more hard earned cash for assets you actually already own, which is only legal because Sony can claim they're not forcing anyone to buy credit packs...

or...

Have every car I actually want to drive immediately so I can do TTs and take part in online racing championships and generally have a great time until GT7 comes out and makes the whole thing redundant. I am loving GT6 so much more than I was 3 days ago. And what's more I don't feel like a cheat.... I have a long history of not cheating in fact. I race clean and fair and my TT performances rarely even stretch the track boundary rules.

No, sorry, Sony took the piss royally this time and karma gave us this glitch so we can effectively say "No thanks"

(*Buying them all this way would take longer than we have before GT7 comes out and makes the whole thing redundant)
 
They could fix this by giving us access to all cars in the game etc but to drive them / race them you need to be a certain level / progression in the game.
 
Might I remind everyone that if you choose to "grind", you have to suffer with the body rigidity glitch. So if you do a couple of 24min races in a expensive car you have to pay to restore the rigidity after only 350 miles. If you are using a LMP/racecar car it's 500k to repair. You end up loosing money to run your car in a race. So technically there is only one race that you can grind legitimately on an make a decent amount of credits, which is Like the wind race on route X. The game is rigged to get you to purchase credits at the moment. Or glitch. Those are your options. Even if we had races that had more credit payouts you have to ask yourself if it's in the budget to run the car in the race. The game is way to glitchy to have been released when it did. I would have rather waited for a few more months until all of that gets sorted out then to have this mess. It's a beautiful game don't get me wrong, but it isn't finished yet. This is only my opinion of course.

Well, I just did the glitch again to see if this is true. Fortunately, the glitch still works. And by the way, the VGT Benz isn't the only car you can sell for 20 Million credits on Ver.1.00, the Acura NSX Concept and several others could be sold for 20 million credits.
 
Well, I have a reason for doing this. I'm basically a car collector and wanted cars that were my favorite, so I did this just to gain them. Now I feel better without needing to worry.

What are other cars are cheaper to buy in 1.01 that can be sold for 20 in 1.00?
 
If the new M4 costs less than 1 million probably it can be used instead of VGT to get more Cr in 1.0.
 
i have already used and tuned the VGT before i even knew about this. will it still work. unfortunately i dont have 1 million to buy another one
