200% Bonus

So I have been playing everyday for the past 3 weeks and I've had the 200% bonus for some time now and when I signed on today it's gone...I know for sure that I played everyday. I'm confused on how it randomly disappears.

Search is your friend. That said, endurance racing can mess with it. Not being signed into PSN can do it. Not being signed in to the PD servers can do it. Check on all those first.

Mine went awry when i left PS3, PSN and GT5 logged in for 24+ hours. I was playing for some of that time, but the system was just idling as it flicked over from one 'sign in day' to the next. I lost all bonus and had to turn off and reboot to get it back, but i had to start from the bottom, noly just got back to 200% just now.

I've known it disappear if you lose your internet connection temporarily whilst playing. Comes back the next day.

If you lose your log-in bonus, go to the XMB menu, settings, time and date settings, time zone, and adjust it so that it is just before midnight.
Now go back into GT5 and wait for the stroke of midnight and you have your log-in bonus back.
This does not work if you adjust the clock, only time zone.

just did the 24hours lemans myself in a couple of days, and when finished i still got the 200% bonus

I've known it disappear if you lose your internet connection temporarily whilst playing. Comes back the next day.

Yep, its done that to me too, it comes back next day like nothing happened.

Highlighted the problem in red.
You need a Brilliant connection to PD servers.
you only have an OK connection.
If you had a brilliant connection.
Then it you would be like every one else and keep the bonus every day.

Yeah, they hate me for not buying there DLC and glitching the game. See if it comes back tomorrow.

What the OP is talking about used to happen to me until I hard wired my internet to the PS3, now it works fine. (Knocking on wood as I type this.)

Maybe in your case it isn't, but I have reproduced this problem 3 times on my system when the endurance race is suspended for more than one 24 hour cycle.

My bonus went down to 170% because I went straight from finishing the tsukuba 9 hour to the Le mans 24hr on bspec without going back to the main page, then after the 24hr had finished, I went to the main page, expecting the log in bonus to appear & nothing happened, then found out that the connection had dropped, so tried to log in again, but couldn`t, due to a `connection error`, so rebooted, logged in & got 170% bonus.

You need to go back to the main page after every endurance race, just to be on the safe side.
