2001 Nissan Sentra Power Window Problems

Hello all,

So the other day my driver side power window started making a small grinding noise while going up, and took longer to go up as well. Within a couple of days it seemed to get progressively worse until yesterday it wouldn't roll up, not even with a forced hand " manually " after doing some research, it seems it is the regulator. Has anyone here done the job before? I am fairly compitent with to tools around the car, however have not done this ? Any techie tips ?

This happened to my grandpa's 04 Maxima and he had to bring it to the dealership, given he is not good with cars.

Well, i got her fixed...just quick swap of the ol'regulator like i thought, took a little bit to get the door panel off properly though as I hadn't done that before...she back up and ready for drive-through's again !
