Welcome to the WTCC (world touring car championship) 2005.

Here is how it works, in the options were you select the settings for Arcade Mode, you will need to do the following things::
Set the Amount of laps to 20
Set tyre wear to off



You will run the races in Arcade Mode Single Race NOT time trial, you will race against other AI cars, i think this will add the element of actually racing into it, the difficulty setting of the AI is completely up to you, remember too get your race time off the race result screen as that is the time needed for the race.

Other than all that its your standard OLR rules, no wall riding, no grass cutting, no cheating etc.

You will run the cars STOCK, no tune up or wight reduction allowed, top speed can be adjusted, TCS ASM and Tyres are up to you.

Most of the driver list has been saved but there are still some entrants missing so please tell me if i have missed you.

There will be 5 leaderboard tables for each race and overall, this is what they are:
1: DTM
2: JGTC 500
3: JGTC 300
4: Super Touring (DTM and JGTC 500)
5: Overall (DTM, JGTC 500 and JGTC 300)

Qualifying will open on the monday ahead of race weekend and will close on friday night, race 1 is on Saturday and Race 2 on the Sunday.

Here is the Calendar, i will add dates, i would like to get it underway ASAP so make sure you have these dates down somewhere so you dont forget.

*note* Dates indicate the RACE dats not qualifying.

For those concerned on the time side of things, check out this it has most areas but you can easily find your territory and find the times using the website below

England: 12am to 11pm

West coast america: 4pm to 3pm

East coast america: 7pm to 6pm

Australia (by queensland): 9am to 8am

New Zealand: 11am to 10am

Hey I need a partner =( oh and i need to know if I don't have a video capture card can I just take a picture of my time?
 
@ Fieldy, thanks, i will let you know if i need help, il see how i cope with round 1 first.

@uberkid86, taking a photo of your screen is fine, you may not be asked to verify though, but still take a photo just in case.
 
arf, if there are a qualy session the thurdays, I fear I can't take part
 
ok, i have 2 suggestions for this.

A: we can run the qualifying all week and you get your 2 times to me by friday night.

B: we have 1 qualifying session on the friday
 
calendar is up, let me know what you think.
The new rules are up, i think they add a much more race oriented feel in to it.
I am still waiting for some people who i kow where in it but i cant find their drive so as soon as they are found we are ready.

also if there is anyone without a drive looking for one, may i suggest a GT300 ride as we only have one GT300 runner and if it stays that way we may have to withdraw the GT300 cars.

Just wondering, how will BHP, Weight and Top Speed settings work for this championship?
 
you will run the cars stock, no quick tune settings (power and weight) are allowed to be set so you MUST leave the cars stock, TCS ASM tyres are up to you.

new rule update, after much deliberation, testing and some thoughts from other drivers i have decided too scrap the tyre wear rule as i thas advantages and disadvantages to drivers.

ok, i guess i owe you all an explanation

i cancelled the two championships because i just didn't think i could cope with two big events. so that's why i did it. i ask you to forgive me, for i have confessed my sins and apologised

so, if i'm allowed, i would like to run the ARTA ASL Garaiya. I'm open for a teammate.
 
thats ok, it is a hell of a big event, il get you down for the ASL Garaiya right now.



thats another GT300 runner everyone and ther is only 2 more days to go until race 1 of the championship
 
As the start of the season draws closer, the tension and excitement has been building.

The teams all flew out too Japan this weekend too start practicing ahead of the qualifying week and the race weekend, there were worries that the heavens would open and cause a wet race but it has cleared up and is forcast for sun all week, however the bad weather wont hold off all week, the weather forecasters do predict rain much later in the week, which may throw a spanner in the works for the teams.

Experts predict some close racing at the tight Tsukuba circuit and very close times which will contrast to the final round at the nurburgring.
They also say the racing between GT500 and DTM race cars will be very exciting to watch as will be the case with the GT300 class.
 
1 week before the first race, I should maybe begin training if I don't want to be too far ;)

About AI, we can take every level we want ? (-10 -> 10)

With qualifying do we just send you our fastest lap, and what's the point of qualifying?

with qualifying, you send your 2 best qualifying times to me, the point of qualifying really is to earn a few extra points, we see how the qualifying goes through round 1 maybe 2 and then decide wether or not its a good idea or not.
