It seem's photoshopped, I'm not sure If I like it still. I'll still take the concept.
It is photoshoped, just look at the reflection on the door, and the angle is exactly the same. Anyways, I like the concept better. The "production model" looks to weeny for a mustang, the grill is messed up because of those lights, and the hood is weak. I like the concept better overall. Who knows though, the concept we see could be the bone stock model, and the acclaimed "production model" could be a whole different type of Mustang, apparently GT.

Kind of like now, how the dealerships carry both stock, and GT models, that sort of thing.

Yeap, it's nice. But it's just look's like a weaker car then the Mustang should be. When you look at this and the Concept, you really find out what the word Muscle Car differes in the two cars. I hope the SVT Cobra look's more like the Concept on the outside.

See what I mean?

sissyyyyy!!!! yeah, they did soften it. the rear side window is STUPID. it lacks a good stance, and the wheels look like walmart caps. ugh. the grille opening is too square. I dont like it. it speaks past, yeah, but it could use better grammar. the concept wins.

I really don't understand this about products and cars, stuff in general?!??! Being an Industrial Designer and seeing this kind of stuff happening all the time. How the hell do you go from that nice of a concept and then **** it all up?!?!??!?! I mean even the front openings there's not that much of a difference and did it really need changing or is it that hard to make that versus the production one!??!?!? Some one pleazzz... Explain for me?!?!? :banghead:

Nick:cheers:

give me the concept car any day or even the 2004 mustang cobra (i know this isn't a cobra)

and like 60 dodge say,i think is photoshoped.

i hope they don't damage the shelby name with that ugly thing (but lets wait for the perfomance #'s)

Well if it's photoshopped then it'll look better when they make the GT500, and the GT350. Carrol Shelby is coming back for the 2005 Mustang.

I would much rather have this new concept compared to what we have had. I just hope they drop a respectable power plant into the thing. No more crappy V8's and V6's, let's get some horsepower.

It's fine, but I liked the concept so much better! Car companies always go and ruin perfectly good concept cars. Why Why?

Edit: Don't like how the production one is so much higher off ther ground. Hideous.

Finally they are getting rid of the soap bar mustang and getting back to looking like its roots...I really like the styling and if its performance can back it up, then heck id buy one!!

IMO I think they need to extend the front end more. It doesn't stick with the Mustang style when the back is longer then the front. Besides that, I agree that the hood needs something on it. It just looks way too plain right now. Besides this, I think they need to bring back the side scoop.

I like the old rear more too. It has the more bulky muscle look to it.

IMO, I like the older Mustang more then this new one. But I can see where Ford was trying to go with this new Mustang and I'm sure it'll sell just as good as the previous models. I really didn't like the concept so I think the production model looks more subtle but still awkward. It is growing on me though. The performance is supose to stay within the same range as the previous models. With the exception of the V8, which will now come with around 300 hp at the same price range of 25k. It's a shame they decided to stick with the old stiff-suspension. I would of liked this Mustang to have better handling.

I'm mixed on this one. I loved the concept. But this version is a less "brutish" than the concept design. Add to that the tiny rims and the missing side scoop and it feels a bit watered down.

But, IMHO, I think if (hopefully when) Saleen gets their hands on that car, the body kits and larger wheels will make the new Mustang butt kickingly good. :)

i like the new alot better!!!, i am getting so sick of the older model
