This is actually more fun than I thought it would be :), I did the race twice, I may do it one more time tomorow but then again I may not.

submitted:tup:

im feel really confident for a podium and i had a really good setup:)

Since I'm no doubt going to be in this boat, I think it would be really cool if, instead of posting all the race times, if how many laps down I am would also be posted. It would make it seem more realistic, like the way results are usually shown.

:sly: Whew, finally done. Ran a faster race w/ only a few minor offs. Normal lap times in the 23's/24's
fast lap 1'22.926
Time submitted.

Times submitted :)

I could probably go a good minute faster than my submitted time, however, today, on this day of days, I just cant be bothered

how much fuel were you guys running? tyre changes were holding me up usually since i never needed more than 35 units of fuel.

I fueled up to 23 units and whenever I pitted I was always left with just the 1 fuel unit remaining :sly:

Well, I would like to thank my sponsor, Guiness and my crew and well I guess the ole Triumph wasn't capable of much more that a fast lap of 1'26 and some change. Oh well every race series must have back markers.....and I am yours:)

Time submitted at the last minute

So... times up? Let's see it, Ashley.

I definitely won't win b/c I never saw a 1'24.xxx lap much less a 1'22.xxx (DRIVEN -USA-). But I only spun out once (the tight, downhill hairpin) so I don't think I'll be too disappointed.

I did run the race twice. The race I submitted was 55 seconds faster than the other. I think I made a couple extra pit stops in the slower race. I could push hard for 6 laps but had to take it easy on lap 7 before hitting the pits. I did a few 8 lap stints but it was dangerous. In my slower race, I started out pitting every 6 laps and transitioned to 7. In the faster race, I was doing 7 and a couple 8's (one intentional and one accidental).

In my fast race:
With 13 laps left, I did my 7 laps and meant to pit but I forgot and just drove by it. I had to do a slow 8th lap before pitting and only having 5 more laps on the last set of tires. Between the slow 8th lap and not being able to take full advantage of 6 laps on good tires, I probably lost 8-10 seconds from that mistake.

So, yeah... looking forward to results. :)

Times up yes, but i did give the aussies until the end of the 13th as they are a day ahead when i post it so its only fair, still awaiting times from Blake and Casio and a few others so this post is the "pushing post" im gonna start pushing for times, i need them in by midnight GMT thats 3 hours.

Hurry up folks.

Time in!

With not a moment to spare.

Not a bad race, I wish I had of had time to run it again. Averaged about a 1'22 for at least the 2nd half of the race when I got my groove. No major incidents, just a few spins. The only thing I was unhappy with was I never got to get a really good fastest lap, as the AI always appeared in stupid spots whenever I got to draft a few down the straight.

That turn 3/4 is awesome. It's kinda like an uphill eau rouge. I overtook one of the AI down the inside of the left, after sticking around the outside of the right, was the best overtaking move I ever did.

Edit: Forgot to add, I wish the AI was harder. I think I finished 5 laps in front or something. I'm dreading actually doing the entire 15 races for the championship to get 100%. I'll have to add ballast or something I guess....

seems everybodys eager to see where they finished ... i know im curious. i know i didnt beat driven or casio ... but, still curious :D

 1'22.xxx Average!!!! :scared: Must of had a sweet line around the tricky esses section.

Ran 6 lap stints w/ 2 7 lap stints - 23 litres on the 6 lap runs/ 27 on the 7 lap runs.

Is it ok to put up your replays??

When will the next race be up?? :sly:

I'm also a big fan of that section. It's one of the many reasons I love GV Speedway.

Agreed. Passing was always too easy. Maybe we could all add some ballast.

DRIVEN -USA-
