In 2006, lamborghini released the 40th anniversary Lamborghini Miura. This was only a concept however, and they never intended to produce a new Miura. But 40 years ago, the original Miura concept was a huge deal. It was the inspiration of every mid-engine two seater sports car in the following years. It got up to over 170mph (about 274 kilometers/hour), being the fastest road car out there. It cost around $20,000, which was very steep in the '60s ($132,876 in 2010). They only made 764 Miuras in it's 6 year run. And in 1974, it was replaced entirely by the Countach, which was replaced by the Diablo, which was replaced by the Murcielago, which was replaced by the Aventador.
