In 2006, lamborghini released the 40th anniversary Lamborghini Miura. This was only a concept however, and they never intended to produce a new Miura. But 40 years ago, the original Miura concept was a huge deal. It was the inspiration of every mid-engine two seater sports car in the following years. It got up to over 170mph (about 274 kilometers/hour), being the fastest road car out there. It cost around $20,000, which was very steep in the '60s ($132,876 in 2010). They only made 764 Miuras in it's 6 year run. And in 1974, it was replaced entirely by the Countach, which was replaced by the Diablo, which was replaced by the Murcielago, which was replaced by the Aventador.

Pretty cool. They should have made 20 of those instead of 20 Reventons! Just a Murcielago with a body kit! My favorite Lamborghini of all time though is the 1998 Lamborghini Diablo SV <3. Pretty sure 98. Which ever was in NFS High Stakes on ps1 if anyone knows about that game :D Awesome game. But that car was beautiful!

So what if it's 5 years old? Still ok to talk about things that are "old" There's people who still talk about GT1 2 3 4 and those are all "old"

I love Reventons, so i disagree.

I love the Murcielago, I love Lamborghini in general 10X better than Ferrari! The Reventon was cool but it was just so ordinary compared to the Murcielago. I could get a new Murcielago LP-640 (not technically "new" anymore) and easily get it to look like a Reventon, so why the Reventon was so much more is what always threw me. The Reventon still looks great

I like the original Miura :D and the Gallardos

The original Miura is the finest looking of all the Lambos (except for that Reventon).

I always thought the gallardos looked like cheap murcielagos :P Still nice and better than any F430! There are a select few Ferrari's that could match up to a Lamborghini. Those would be the F40, F50, and the 458 Italia. That's it! I'd spend the money on a Reventon before an Enzo any day!

My favorite lambo! Diablo SV!

It has that VW funky feeling. When I look at it, I picture daisy vinyls. VW would probably have a less edgy design on the wheels.

I am not a VW fan at all. This hurts me.

LOL. VWs ok. I mean the Samba bus is a pure classic xDD.

I'll give you that. I wish this conversation would shift back to the Miura.

I love the Miura, possibly my favourite car. Too bad it is too light and too good in GT5, also if memory serves, the real prototype didn't even have an engine, might have made more sense to use a later model like the SV.

But then, I think they are missing a Countach also, love the LP400 but the Anniversary with the fugly bodykit and US-spec narrow rear lights 👎...hope there's room for a 5000S or QV somewhere in the DLC :)

Pretty much love every other Lamborghini, used to be pretty meh about the Gallardo, found the styling a little "busy" but it's oddly grown on me a lot just within the last year or so. Also love the Aventador (c'mon that MUST make DLC) and the Sesto Elemento, the lines, the way that edge on the side continues via the wing mirror...awesome.

I don't like how countachs look. It's so plain, and Diablos are in between Countachs and Aventadors.

If I HAD to rate which lambos i liked the most it'd go like this

1. Lamborghini Diablo SV
2. Lamborghini Countach (the later not the LP400)
3. Lamborghini Murcielago
4. Lamborghini Miura
5. Lamborghini Alar 777 (concept)
6. Lamborghini Jota (another concept coming soon)
7. Lamborghini Aventador
8. Lamborghini Gallardo

Back in the 1980s of sometime, back when Chrysler first bought Lamborghini, they worked on a joint project together and created the Lamborghini/Chrysler Portofino. It was a 4 door concept car of which I believe 3 were made. They scraped the idea and the cars were destroyed, except for one that was eventually remastered. However, Chrysler used this same body design and structure to later create the early 1990s Dodge Intrepids. If you look at older Dodge Intrepids and compare them to the Lamborghini/Chrysler Portofino you can see the obvious resemblance. Just thought I'd share this cool fact x) So if you own a old Dodge Intrepid you own a "Lamborghini Concept" :P

The new one is okay, they just need to dump that awful green colour.

Agreed, should have done like the traditional yellow, green just looks terrible.
