Are you kidding?
For 2006 German tuner SpeedArt has developed its latest project known as the 997 TTR (Twin Turbo Racer). Based on the 997 Carrera S, the TTR is available with either 450 bhp or 500 bhp power upgrades, thanks to the fitment of two modified K24 blowers to the 3.8-liter flat-six engine. Also part of the TTR package is a new sports exhaust with turbo headers and sports cats, while a new intake system and intercooler ensures as much air as possible makes its way through the turbochargers and into the combustion chambers. To ensure the 997 copes with all the power, an upgraded clutch forms part of the package, as does a high performance oil cooler and modified ECU.

Externally the TTR comes in for a raft of modifications with a new front bumper and chin spoiler, new side skirts, a rear diffuser and new rear wing design, giving the car an altogether meaner look. SpeedArt also offers a performance brake upgrade. To get the most impressive design SpeedArt offers gullwing doors, too. For the transformation from Carrera S into TTR, which includes the fitment of 19- or 20-inch wheels in many different designs, SpeedArt charges about $60,000.

I absolutely love it! I especially love the black roof detailing.

TwinTurboJay
but its a great place to store your snow brush and washer fliud and booster cables!
Jay whatever you're smoking please can I have a kilo of it. Well 100grams will do.

Becuase you sir have made the most amusing and utterly confusing posts in the last week.

Same here

And the spelling is atrocious...

I really like the Carrera GT-style front bumper. To be honest though; for the money, I'd rather just buy a 911 GT3 RS and put the extra money saved towards a nice daily driver(Infiniti M45 Sport anyone).

I like everything but the side skirts on that, the rest of the car looks great.

(Infiniti M45 Sport anyone).

Offtopic: Oh. My. God. The Infiniti M is such a pleasant place to be...and its got quite a bit of luxury...and of course some performance. It would be very hard for me not to get one if I was in the market for a $50k sport saloon. Hell, I'd even take the $6k cheaper M35 Sport. It's just that good.

I could have a prettier, nicer car with better resale and a 3-year warranty for less straight from Porsche, making the same power. Whoop-de-doo.

Rear biased AWD and lower the upper-deck of the wing. Paint the skirts black and the upper wing also black.

I agree with the anti-shelf judgements. I'll take mine in Forest-Green Metalic with Gold BBS three-piece wheels, please...

But wait a tick... Why would I want one of these when the 997 Turbo is faster AND cheaper?

It's only faster because it is AWD. This is the Porsche for the guy who doesn't want to wait for the hairy chested GT2, or hates the looks of the GT3. An RR 911 turbo is something that has been needed since 1987.

It's nice to see someone who agrees with me.:O Unfortunately, I haven't had the pleasure of riding in one yet, but everytime I go to the auto show, I spend probably at least 20 minutes total sitting in that car. Not all at once mind you, but I usually come back to the car at least 3 or 4 times, just to sit in it again.:D

I'm quite convinced that the M45 has the most comfortable seats in the world. Period. For both the fronts and backs. When at the show I did a direct comparison and sat in all of it's closest competitors(5 Series, E Class, A6, RL, etc) and none of them "just feel right" like the M does. Even the Audi A8 and new Mercedes S class didn't impress me much in comparison, and, even given unlimited funds, I'd take the M45.

Actually, make mine an M45 Sport in black with the official Infiniti body kit and those gorgeous split 5 spoke wheels. With the Bourbon leather interior and Rosewood trim and all the option boxes checked off, thank you(obviously I've done my research, more than once, lol).;)

Darn you, you had to make me start drooling again!

A RR Turbo would either lead to mass lawsuits or a more electronically controlled car than a Prius at 3 mph.

You know what?

I like the big, retro tray spoiler.

There, I said it. I like it and you can't change my mind. I think it's perfect, looks like one of the late '70s-'80s turbos.

I like the tray spoilers of the older Porches too, but this one just isn't shaped right to me, and it has another wing sticked on top of it, and the combination is just :yuck:
