BMW has good postions they were quick in practice , and knowing them they must have a heavy fuel load , but I think Nick's car is a bit lighter than Kubica maybe diffrent stratgies? all wil be revealed :D , Renualt has a quick start so the rarris have to do a good job on holding them on the start , I think this is going to be one of the best races this season :)

I think Alonso will pass Schumacher from the start.

I'm not sure on his decision on the engine choice, but he didn't really use it up at Hungary, so he should be fine.

what i think is michael will pass massa form the start and massa hold up alonso and fiss until the end.:grumpy: r michael pass massa and alonso follow him pass massa then battleing hard..:)
and i hope renault can win the race.👍

Massa, Alonso and MS. Not a bad race. Fisi proves his worth, yet again.

Great race; especially for the last 15 laps. The Alonso and MS battle was fantastic.

Was hoping Alonso kept MS behind just so Massa could win. :) Great race driven by the top 4. Bad luck strikes Kimi yet again, taken out beyond his control, De La Rosa done a good job for McLaren though.

Fisi proves his worth, yet again.

Yep that's next season's Renault First Driver your looking at.. :ouch:

Big congratulations to Massa on his first win. :)

Nice finish, Schuey trying his best and Alonso doing well to keep calm and maintain concentration. Slightly disappointing the way Alonso was able to finish ahead though, the queueing in the pits. Nothing either driver could control.

Kimi fails to finish again, and once again out of his control. I'm looking forward to seeing him in a Ferrari seat.

Now Ferrari must get Schuey to finish first with Massa second in some of the last races to take the driver's title. Possible, but unlikely they'll take it now.

Yes! Really pleased Michael didn't pass Fernando. I'm really glad to see Massa get a win, as I didn't think he would this year. I get the impression from the team radio that the only people in the Ferrari team who are happy are those with the surname Massa. Go Fernando!

Good run to 4th for Button, more points scored. Shame - again - for Williams, looking so good at the beginning, but still no points.

Very good, and tense, race. Lots of overtaking, good battles all through the field and a great result.

Edit: I reckon Ferrari has the Constructer's championship sewn up now though - just 2 points behind Renault with 4 races left, and Fisi at the moment isn't as good as Massa.

I didn't notice last year how good a track the Turkish one is, but after seeing this year's race, I'm inclined to say it's my favourite. Very impressed with the speed and overtaking opportunities. :)

Very impressed with the speed and overtaking opportunities. :)
It's a bit like the best parts of Brands Hatch, Spa, and Interlagos combined into one location. It's a great racing track, wide, allows for overtaking, makes the best use of natural topography. Only that final slow-speed complex seems to break up the natural flow of the circuit.

Here's to Massa's first win, and winning it on total merit!

Great racing all around, a pity to see Kimi leave early from the race due to another competitor...again.

alonso just had to finish second....now the gap between him and schumy is getting bigger again.......

Yikes today there have been allready 2 spin outs and 1 crash, there seems like a slick of some sort or a kink in the asphalt. This cant look good.

Great race! Ferrari bungled that first stop, which probably ultimately cost Schumacher 2nd. Alonso made the most of that, and then kept Michael behind him the rest of the way. That's good driving 👍.

Congrats to Massa! It's always fun to watch someone else win, if you know what I mean ;).

if they where only wanting schumacher to win they would have left Massa out and risked the safety car only staying out one lap to help Schumacher, yet they didnt.

If they really wanted Schumacher to win they should of let Massa fall back and make a nuisance of himself around the Turn 8 area. So MS could actually make some ground and have an easy pass into 12.

Even if Alonso have of passed Massa, he would of let MS by and it's still a 2 point loss. That's how I would of done it.

Wow, you're the biggest fanboy ever miss_schu.

That's fangirl to you!

Even though my theory didn't turn out in this race, you all know it would have been the case! Michael was closing in on Massa and had it not of been for that safety car being deployed Michael would have blown Massa away! Come on now, you know it! As soon as that car came out I knew it was all over and it was confirmed as soon as the two Ferraris came in to pit! While Michael was patiently waiting for Massa to get the hell out of there, Alonso was in his pit box at the same time and as soon as he took off that was it, sigh! But I was really hoping that Michael would still come out on top! But alas, to no avail :( I did enjoy watching Michael chasing FA though! But would have preferred it if Michael was the one being chased :D It was just not to be this time! 12 points now the gap between the two front runners, things are definitely heating up and just think of the outcome, it is gonna be awesome, completely down to the wire, I just cannot wait! The two week interlude seems forever! Good on Massa though for his first career victory in an F1 car and in a Ferrari at that! You bet he would be emotional! But seriously, he would not have won this race if the circumstances weren't as they were! It was just bad luck that Schumi messed up in qualifying like he did, he would have taken Pole and this race would have been his! But nevermind, its look ahead now to these last four races! Good luck Schumi, you can do it!

Awesome for Webber for finally finishing! Yay, it can be done in that car of his!

Button did better than I had expected!

All the overtaking throughout the race was real cool!

Poor Kimi, when is he ever gonna get out from under that black cloud!

Roll on Monza!

I was watching the race yesterday with a sore head from a bad hangover but I still enjoyed it. Massa earned his first win and totally deserved it. He never put a foot wrong and was quick all weekend. Good on you, Felipe! Alonso did well to hold off Schumacher in the last few laps but also did a good job over the weekend. M Schumacher made several mistakes throughout the weekend, costing himself the pole position (which would almost certainly have given him the race win the way things turned out for Massa). Lots of overtaking throughout the rest of the pack for the entire duration of the race, great action from the drivers and the circuit. I'm looking forward to seeing the GP2 race now, after all the talk about it.

edit: Just noticed your sig, miss_schu ("Michael Schumacher 8 Times Formula 1 World Champion"). Is that yet another mistake in your statistics or are you anticipating M Schumacher winning the championship this year?

Even though my theory...

*snipity snip*

Good luck Schumi, you can do it!

Button would never have won if the circumstances weren't as they were either. However, they were so he (both Button and Massa) did.

Massa isn't allowed to be faster than Schumacher, yet he proved he can stay with MS, putting in fastest lap after fastest lap, just as the 2 chasing World Champions were. By the end of the race, Massa's fastest lap was only a tenth slower than Michael's, and faster than Alonso's.

Michael failed to overtake Alonso - again - despite his huge braking advantage. And Schumacher outbraked himself twice in qualifying, at the same corner. That's hardly bad luck.

It was just bad luck that Schumi messed up in qualifying like he did, he would have taken Pole and this race would have been his!

Sorry but I can't agree that it was bad luck, MS made a number of mistakes during the entire weekend (which is not like him at all) and it was these mistakes that cost him the race.

In the last 11 laps and the chase with FA he made mistakes that lost him a chance to have a shot at FA.

I do however agree that its going to be a good run to the close of the season.

I also have to say well done to the Renault team as they have worked well to get around the banning of the Mass Dampers.

Well if not in your opinion, in mine I see it as being bad luck! Had Schumi not of messed up, he would have been in a much better position then he was!

Shame about BMW bad race from start to finish I wonder how Monza would suit the BMW ? Hopefully we'll back and scoring points

Screwing up has nothing to do with luck , Kimi has bad luck , if MSC hadn't screwd that turn (I think it was turn 8 ) where he went off track (I think it was the same spot as quali then he would of been ahead of Alonso I think , so he has only himself to blame and not his luck

Bad luck is, by definition, something outwith your own control. Bad luck in F1 is your engine failing, someone running into you when they have a brake failure, the fuel filler not opening. Bad luck is not repeatedly locking your brakes and messing up two qualifying laps. That's bad driving. I'm a big Schumacher fan, but I can see he makes mistakes. Why can't you? You seem to just have this blind confidence in him and think that he's infallible, but if you look back over his career you can see a lot of mistakes he's made (the numerous spins in his first couple of seasons, spinning off at Spa in 1994 and getting disqualified for it, 1997 Jerez and 1999 Britain off the top of my head (no, I don't count 1994 Australia as an accident, Schumacher was trying to make the corner, unlike Prost when he turned across Senna in Japan)). Why do you see him as infallible and blame his mistakes on other people or bad luck?

Of course Schumi messing up has nothing to do with luck, that is his own fault! But he did mess up and because of that, he ended up 2nd, which in my meaning is being bad luck for him! If he didn't mess up and ended up on Pole, then it would have been good luck!!

amp88: Hello! I have never once said that Michael doesn't make mistakes! And I don't blame other people for his errors, stop putting words in my mouth!

What is so wrong with me thinking so highly of him? I am entitled to my opinions about him just like everyone else is in this forum!
