Time to get in front of the television with a nice cold drink. Mine will be orange juice, even though it is late at night here. Kind of disappointed with the penalty to the McLaren drivers. I think it was probably deserved, but it really would have been a better race with the McLarens up there with the Ferraris for the start. I predict... Kimi to win, Hamilton to get up to 3rd or 4th. I was hoping that Nico would do better in qualifing. Hopefully there won't be too many problems with the heat, but there could be a lot of cars out again :-(

15 mins left to wait!

They deserved the penalty, whether they knew they were doing it or not. It's a shame because it could ruin what would've been a great race. Though it's set up for a pair of silver arrows to shoot through the field. Guess we'll see.

My podium for the race.

1. Felipe Massa
2. Kimi Raikkonen
3. Lewis Hamilton

Massa is pole and is most likey to take the win.
He's always good of the pole and Raikkonen is starting on the dirty side.

The two McLarens are gonna be in the big pile of cars entering turn two unless Lewis or Heikki can get to the top 4 by the end of turn one.

Here we go. Bad to see Bourdais go so early, but this looks like it'll be a good race.

Also, Nico has no front wing. Wow.

Lol, did well to stay side by side up the start/finish and turn 1. McLarens just don't have anything after that start, disappointing.

I'd say it'll be damage limitation for today unless it rains.

It doesn't seem to be so hot as to cause problems and the drivers seem to have adjusted to racing without the driver aids.

So are you hoping for rain?

Well rain would certainly spice it up and it'd test the drivers but it could easily cause a hideous second half of the race if cars started flying off left right and center so I'd prefer it not to rain.

Don't know if everyone sees the same thing, but on Speedtv they showed that the wheel shroud on Hamilton's car did not go on correctly on that right front that they had trouble taking off. Bad luck for Hamilton.

question i always had.

where do Varsha, Hobbs, Matchett annonce from?

I know Peter Windsor is at the gp, but are the other guys watching from a tv at SPEEDTV studios?

Yeah I noticed that and mentioned it to a couple of people but it doesnt seem to be doing much harm.

they should be in the studio. Because from time to time they do complain about losing the live feed

so ron dennis stepping down soon...i thought it was a fake rumor.
The rumor was before the start of this season. Its known that he is grooming Whitmarsh to take his place eventually, probably in a year or two.

Toro Rosso blew another engine. Too bad for Vettel. I wonder how well he could do in a proper car.
