Whaaaaat? No MINI or the FIAT 500? 👎
But considering the line up for the COTY, I'm thinking that none of them are as good as the one we set up on our poll. The GT-R is gonna win it, simply because it is just awesome in every single way. Ask yourself why the GT-R is in the front middle row of that shot?![]()
There's not a new BINI for 2009 and they don't get the FIAT 500.

Well okay, should have read a little more about the award....Yes remember, this is American car of the year.
And a Toyota Camry in 2007.Mind you, this is the same magazine that, a few years ago, chose the Toyota Prius for this same award.
Though, to be fair, import companies could only win the award since 1999. The VW won due to a loophole.
Believe it or not...I wouldn't count out the Lincoln, either. Of course, we all really know it comes down to which manufacturer will slip MT the biggest advert bill...
I've seen at least 10, excluding the area where the local Hyundai dealer is. Plus, it kind of looks like a Mercedes. And surprisingly, it actually does stand out a little more than I thought it would. I'm not surprised it's sold well in areas where people still favor a cushy sedan with some power and have little respect for SUVs or race-track responses: The 45-65 year-old (possibly) retired crowd.Anyone see any Genesises yet?? I've seen one and they've been out over a month.
