I've been secretly following this thread, I haven't had a real opportunity to watch or even listen to Radio Le Mans, but currently I've got WiFi so I though I might as well keep up to date with whats going on and perhaps join in more in the morning. Seems to have been pretty action packed so far, shame about Manthey being out though. Especially under the circumstances.

Oh well, lets hope the rest of the race will pack the same kind of action.

It's not the end of the world you still have the Porsche/Prius to support

I thank everyone for all these tissues received. My support is now for the Hybrid and I'd like a BMW Z4 GT3 to do well too.

Is autosports live timing out for anyone else?

It appears the dominance has finally come to an end. No disrespect intended to Manthey, but its time for someone else to take the top step of the podium. The two Audis in the top 5 look great right now and a great run for the BMW Motorsports M3 as well.

It was hit by a GOLF! Soonnnuvabeeach!

Also #9 is in first, Audi took a long lap.

I somehow have great sympathy for the Golf who shot the #1 off the track. Love me some tiny slow boxes causing some unpredictable situations. Makes everything a lot more interesting. 👍

Some of those drivers in the slower cars need to be a bit more careful though. Early on in race the #1 car had an off-moment because that black BMW for no reason jumped in front of him.

Oh well, I'm going to bed. Hoping to see that #9 in spot 1 when I get up in the morning 👍

I hear you but I just love unpredictability and recklessness in races. Otherwise it's just time trial with all the cars on track at once. And I'm off as well. Wishing the road legal RS and Sabine Schmitz's RSR the best luck throughout the night.

The race ends at 3PM in Germany right?

Unpredictability is a all well and good, but peoples lives are at stake here, while the cars have a high safety standard, this is the Nurburgring, a notoriously dangerous track.

That said, I don't want to be too hard on the slower cars, its not as easy as it sounds letting numerous cars past in the dark on a narrow track, especially after a tough hour or so stint, when concentration is going.

[edit] Kaz's vehicle is in 90th now. :)

Kaz is upto 90th and lapping nearly a minute faster than the next 7 cars infront

Thanks.

Also, after God-knows-how-long, the #26 BMW M3 GT2 that crashed at Aremberg has gotten up to 32nd.

Edit: Correction, 28th.

Yeah Kaz seems to be making up alot of time, very nice. He might be low on fuel though, been a while since his last pitstop isn't it?
Can imagine it being close to the end of his stint as well.

#99 Audi back in the lead now, lapping fast too. #9 is in the pits for a scheduled stop.

Thanks.

It's put in a lap faster than everyone else infront of it besides the #99 R8 LMS. Glad to see it's making a strong comeback.

I was gutted to see this car out of the running for victory so early on, nice to see it making a good comeback though :)

Food and drink back in a bit.

(post whore;))

Give it a few more hours and hopefully it will be back in the top 10:tup:.

I'd love to see an M3 finish in the top 3.

Keep the pressure up Team Schnitzer!!

EDIT: The debut car, BMW Z4 GT3 is doing very good too... Would be happy to see them finish in the top 10. The VW Scirocco number 117 is very good too.. Currently running in 19th and ahead of it are all the top cars.
