I feel like the 300 would be the last car to have a teaser site. It doesn't seem like the kind of car to attract the internet crowd.

I don't even know why Chrysler has a website. If no one younger than 60 wants to drive 'em, well they probably don't use computers either.

Funny y'all say that... the 300 is the only new sedan in america that's considered a customizers dreamcar these days. Y'all must have them confused with buick or cadillac...

It has a menu showing that the radio is on and for showing vehicle speed? What will they think of next?!

Well they have taken a great looking unique car and ruined the front, now it looks like a minivan! Top job there Chrysler :yuck:

They should have done the front like the previous one, big square lights and a huge criss cross grille. It only needed a bit of tweaking. The face lifted original 300 was ten times better than this!

Everything else on this new one (the back and interior) look reasonable but that horrid corporate front puts me off completely. Seriously the car didn't need redoing anyway.

Why is this the only site that LOVES to trash talk chrysler? I see the 200, but the 300?

I don't think everyone thinks it's bad, it's just Chrysler's past of awful quality, and the fact that 300C was a very nice car in the first place, and that the 200 doesn't graft well with the 300. Nothing form Chrysler is fun or unique anymore. They're too bland. Dodge is less boring, but half the cars are replicas of Jeeps or Chryslers.

I kinda like the previous 300C but this one.. Looks too much like an Audi :scared:

The interior might looks nice, like the CTS but I'm afraid... The quality!

You cannot blame chrysler for the quality issues., that was diamlers problem.

Chrysler had average quality before the golddiggas came into play. The LH cars (300M,Concord, LHS, sebring) were great cars. Inside and out. Had more pizaz (sp?) Than buick and olsmobile around that time. Even the PT Crusier was a fun car especially in convertible form whom I see on the streets all the time in perfect condition?

Today yea all they have is a van and fullsize car, a fullsize car that's still "more fun" than a big bodied lil footed buick lacross. (wheels looks to small for the size of the car). Ill still take this over any other american fullsize sedan

Its funny because the only two Chrysler's that have ever interested me in modern times were the Crossfire and 300C, both build when under Daimler. They were also the most unique looking, decently priced and generally well received.

Um, Did you really have to mention buick? Because they are making some outstanding and beautiful looking cars these days, So do not even go there, Aint no way in hell i would take this over a new regal.

And why does it need a teaser site, Arent they aware of the full body uncamouflaged version that surfaced not to long ago, Seriously, It showed the hole production car, everything, So why a teaser site.

Today, yeah all they have is a van and fullsize car, a fullsize car that's still "more fun" than a big bodied, little footed Buick Lacrosse. (wheels look too small for the size of the car). I'll still take this over any other American fullsize sedan.

1. I'd wished you'd type correctly, as I've corrected in said paragraph.
2. We don't care much for Chrysler because of there past, Daimler sucked with them, then Ceberus (however you spell it) Capital put them in danger of dying, and while they turn out useless crap like Sebrings, the Town & Country, the PT Cruiser, come on, it looked way too old, and I'm glad it's gone. Plus, you seem to be a fanboy. Many people here aren't.
3. I'd take a Buick any day. The Lacrosse is a brilliant piece of work, and they sell 18" wheels for it, it's a pristine car setting the way for Buick. The Regal is a brilliantly executed version of the Opel Insignia, the Enclave is the best GM crossover yet. Now they need to kill the Lucerne.

Contrary to what you might think, I don't know why Chrysler is a big 3 automaker. They create a few nice musclecars. And a car that was once historic, but is now surrounded by budget compacts. (Jeep Wrangler)

I loved the Crossfire, the old 300C, and the ME Four-Twelve. Now, I only like the Challenger.

Fanboys.

I'm not big on interiors, but Chrysler couldn't make a decent one to save their life. They have some of the ugliest, cheapest looking interiors out there. Their interiors make the Corvette look like a Maybach.

Like I said, chrysler wasn't responsible for that. Its Diamler and Cereb...whatever fault, they drained chryslers funds/R&D for their own gain. How else would they gain 2 new models, when they were with chrysler? (CLS and Eclass coupe), lie to the press that the cherokee chassis was developed by them when it was really chrysler who helped them since they had the experience with 4x4's?. Took chryslers next Gen viper platform and created the SLS…
Them bitches was scared chrysler would out do them, especially if the 300 had a interior that could rival german sedans and them sell it for 30k less than Eclass fully loaded. **** Chrysler could had built the ME 4 supercar but diamler said NO, cause they know it would be faster and 100k cheaper than their precious SLR!

Ok,that has to be, the best and upmost different interior to come out of any Chrysler product, hands down (That i have ever seen). Also psntomaz, please stop double posting, use just one post for all the info, just looking out...in case of the lurking mods:tup:.

Can you please, calm down? Several of us know, but it was still a Chrysler car, and if it's got a god-awful interior (which most do), then it's the automaker's fault. I don't believe everything above. Yes, the SLS is the next-gen Viper platform. So? And the Me Four-Twelve, it was too different to direct from SLR sales, and I'm still damn sure, with or without a Me Four-Twelve, all the SLR's would have been sold. I understand you may have a lot of love for Chrysler, but other people don't, and I'd wish you'd accept that.

Anyway... I ddidnt like the way Autoweek took these pics making the car look akward or might be because its a prototype ( the naked spyshots show the car sitting a bit lower) but here is their 300. Article...

Eh, it's not bad. Interior looks on the up, but it looks like it's trying to fit in when before it stood out. Cadillac's CTS pulls off the German-look American-car theme better. It just looks so standard. I also see a bit of Hyundai Genisis/Equus in the car.

On the other hand, it does pull off "less chintzy," for better or worse. And, there's always the (now with 50% more aggressive) Charger, if you want to stick out. like a sore thumb.

I like it a lot. There is an Audi resemblance due almost completely to the headlight shape, but it's less ostentatious. I'd consider if I was in the market for a big sedan. It should continue to be pretty popular.

That thing looks damn sharp, haters vacate.

e: love the retro taillights too

e2: It'd look fantastic with a hood ornament

First thing I would do if I bought it would be put in a chicken wire style grille then its front end looks would be fixed :).

This is more of a second (quite thorough though) facelifting rather than an all new model. I loved the previous version's body, HEMI engines are cool too, however this new front looks hideous.

On the other hand it's to hear they improved materials in the interior, they were a joke.

After seeing the two cars together, I can see why they designed the headlights like that. Rather, almost all of the features on the new car try to mimic the old car. I think that was a poor decision because the car is very close to being quite stylish and attractive, it just has tacky bits, all of which come from the old 300.

a lot of the "tacky" bits also came from the late 50's 300 like the tail lamps for example.

To me they just improved on the old design. People complained about the interior and said the exterior stying was outdated. Now people are dissapointed when they now made a base model more competitive than a Genisis. And offer the same luxury as a BMW all for 28k.
