2011 Amateur B-Spec Series​
Stage I​

The competition will be held over 6 stages involving 10 races each on varying tracks. The winner of each stage will be forwarded to a finale where these 6 fastest will then be entered into a Super Cup of 10 races to find the ultimate amateur driver.

The Entrants
Each member of GTP will only be allowed to enter once into any of the 6 stages of the competition. That is to say that if your driver is a participant in stage 1, you cannot enter any driver into any other stage of the competition*. This is to give more members the chance to compete with their drivers.

The Drivers
Being an amateur competition all drivers must be level 0, freshly adopted without any experience or races under their belts. This is the way the competition is kept fair. Once an enlisted driver is set to on-line he many not be removed from that status until the competition is over or he will be disqualified from all series.

Time Scale
Each stage should run roughly the course of a week allowing 6 stages to take place within 6 weeks.

Exceptions
Remote Race grinders please be aware that if a driver is unavailable for more than 2 races he will be disqualified so please hold you entrance until you are confident they will be available, or until the later stages of the competition.

*If there is a problem finding the required amount of drivers for later stages some members may be invited back from previous rounds to make up the numbers.​


Each stage will be open to 10 drivers not including myself, making 11 in each round and an overall 61 for the entire series. As the host, my driver will be given a penalty of -10 points so that it will be highly unlikely a stage win is possible for him, much less two, as he will be the only driver present throughout the whole series.

Points will be given as follows: 1st - 10, 2nd - 9, 3rd - 8, 4th - 7, 5th - 6, 6th - 5, 7th - 4, 8th - 3, 9th - 2, 10th - 1. The last place driver will receive no points.

To sign up please post your PSN ID along with your drivers name. Send a FR to blackboxshem_GTP with 'B-Spec' as the subject. I will be organising from this thread so please contact me here and not through the PSN.

IDs are used here to save me the confusion I had in the previous championships hunting around to find what user name matched the PSN ID as not all members have a similar user name and PSN ID.

Just to clarify, is it sufficient for the driver to be level 0, with a race count of 0, irrespective of what's been collected online, or do you require the driver to not just be level 0, but to have absolutely nothing collected online when the competition starts?

I need it so that the driver is level 0 with no experience. If he has been racing but not been cashed in then I guess it is fine as long as they show no progress, giving them an advantage over the others.
 
OK Sharky, just post him up on this thread once you have a level 0 driver.

Shem - I will upload my driver shortly if my internet fixes up. 👍 Please give one day for setup so I can get running in this series, plz. I will notify you soon when its online.
