Actualy every race hoodfeild that your driver - H.fujimoto has entered in, in this, the driver has lost grid positions per race. So hes consistent in being passed so far.

Race 3 started 3rd - finished 6th
Race 4 started 2nd - finished 4th
Race 9 started 4th - finished 8th.

Then again, I'm not HOODFIELD, and my driver isn't H.Fujimoto. ;)

M. Sierra; not entered in races 9 & 10.... There goes my chance at winning this B-Spec NASCAR Championship.

For some unknown to me reason your PSN ID was greyed out when I was selecting drivers. It just displayed a message, something, can't remember what now, but it wasn't that the drivers were off-line, just some thing about the account. Any ideas what could have cause it?

Strange.... I have no idea.

Let me check My Home on the PS site and see if it's still doing it....

....Nope. Everything is fine now. How bizarre! Maybe it was a connection issue on my end, but that would affect all drivers and the race could not have been held. The mind boggles. :boggled:

To compensate, I can add 1 point for each race missed [2 races total] so it would be as if your driver had entered but finished outside of the top 6 as this issue was neither one of our faults, so long as the other members agree with this.

Please Post Below

👍 = Yes, allow M. Sierra the points for lost races.

👎 = No, do not allow the points.

Reminder: This occurrence was an unforeseen problem that neither myself of hightyme could have rectified. The first 5 posts below will be taken for a decision. Thanks all.

👍

A while ago I couldn't receive prizes and other people couldn't race my guys. After a few days it just fixed itself. Could be the same thing.

👍

I'm hoping my olive branch of goodwill will motivate my Bob to actually make a pass!

OK. That's the matter settled. The vote can end here!

2 points will be given to the total score of M. Sierra for unforeseen problem. 3/5 👍 calls the decision. Thanks to all of you who voted.

I guess the Nascar championship is going to move to Daytona now! ;)

Edit: Doing some races at the Daytona Superspeedway makes me think that this could be a complete game changer. My level 40 drivers used to have no issues driving out a decent lead in a field with lower level drivers, not anymore. They can't even get away from drivers in their 20's anymore. I guess it's more difficult here to make mistakes, and even drivers in their 20's can successfully draft you, and then shoot past you on a whim. Starting positions seem to have much less impact as well now. I guess there's more space, and everyone can draft. Will be interesting to see how this championship will progress from now on.

Not a big game changer. As every driver is level 40 they all get the same benefits and negatives
Slower drivers will still corner slower than the best in their draft, thats what starting stats are for.
The grid starting position will still decide who wins but as a result of the slip stream passing points .
A slower driver just ends up being re-passed earlier on Daytona removing any bonus the darft gives them.

This is not our first time at Daytona in Nascar on B-spec remote.

I'm really looking forward to see how it changes the game to be honest, or if it doesn't at all.

I'll run a race their later tonight (should be working but oh well) and see if I can get a replay on-line for everyone to watch.

Will be interesting. And while I don't know how it'll change the championship, I know it's changed the Nascar race in general, at least that's what the races I've done so far tell me. Didn't win a single time with my level 40 (who's always won and managed to get a decent lead against the same field before), and was even beaten by mid-20's!

Doctorg get a better driver. Lol. Still as easy to win.

Not part of this championship.

Remember I said at the start I wont run my best driver as I wanted him for another event.

PD under estimated the number of laps required buy short tracks it now ruins the Chart display on chromium.

Wow! Is that the new NASCAR event? Surely not!
And are those my drivers in 5th & 6th place. :sly:

But the thing is, he was good enough at Grand Valley Speedway. Now he's always in the lead group, but whoever wins from that lead group seems to be entirely random, as he may pick the lead at the beginning of the last lap and then jumps to 3rd just a few seconds before the finish line.

Not part of this championship.

How many races did you do? And yes, that chart looks all over the place!

I just noticed the 29 laps! What track is that? Possibly a mini of something. Madrid? Or perhaps the oval with all that over taking?

Daytona has 30 laps, I think the graph isn't really made for that many.

Got a feeling I'll just be posting up the list view from now on! I guess we could still run the chart but it's going to be difficult to make out a general trend. I can only focus on one line at a time!

was that the reason my driver missed those races as well or was he busy racing elsewere

also going back through the races it looks as tho we raced race 4 twice check post 117 and post 119 on page 6

and on a side note my driver has been in the first 7 races and race 4 twice so i should have atleast 7 or 8 points

yep it does look like the 1 point for taking part in a race rule from the front page has not been applied.
And you are correct about there being an extra race as there has been 11 results posted
Depends if the Non Nascar race was deleted from the standings or not.

I look forward to the level 0 competition. C.Cho is more of a "pack mule" than a thoroughbred it seems. He could be the richest driver in the competition however as he's holding about $31.5 mil 👍

I will fix that as soon as I have time. I've had a lot on at work recently so when I have a clear day to sort every thing out I will go through all of the driver points to make sure they're all correct.

As I've mentioned before it's quite difficult to keep every thing 100% accurate so thanks for pointing out any mistakes. 👍

Hasn't been yet but will be when I get the chance to review all of the driver points. It'll be done in the next few days. That race was me accidentally clicking on the wrong event. :dunce:

take your time im in no hurry
im not likely going to win any ways
hope for better luck in the level 0 races

Hi all, sorry for the delay in the championship, races should conclude tomorrow. I've been a busy body this week at work and have been too exhausted to attempt the races. So without further ado keep it locked and the new races will be up here soon. 👍

Excellent! 👍

Even though it's a little off-topic, that driver of mine has finally managed to get his win, in a two car race against a level 19 driver! By a margin of 0.000 seconds!! Yes, that's right, they had exactly the same time! They swapped the lead quite a number of times throughout the race, though my level 40 probably had a lot more of it, and he took the lead again at the beginning of the last lap, and on the last bend, the level 19 was using the draft to get the speed to shoot past, but luckily, the finishing line came just in time. A few more meters and he'd have probably lost again. Seriously, a level 19! That would have never happened at Grand Valley Speedway!

Race 11. Winner: D. Hancock

All championship standings have been altered on the first page so that the points from the non-NASCAR race have been deducted.
