I hate the suit the race for the european viewer thing.
If the european viewers are true F1 fans they will stay up late or wake up early, why should the rest of us suffer.
It's all about the tv viewers. The majority of F1 viewers are based within Europe, so sometimes changes will be made to cater for them, and in return the tv ratings are higher. It's business. No one is making you suffer, you can record things. You've only been watching F1 for a short period, I've been watching it my whole life and I accept whatever time a race begins at. I don't moan about it. The race started at 4am in Toronto. I've just moved here from Scotland, but I'm not complaining because I know how things work. I'll watch F1 regardless of the broadcast time.

On the alonso/ LH penalty: How on earth did they get penalised, but Rubens got away scott free after demolishing Rosberg's race in Melbourne.
Pirro should go back to be a mediocre touring car driver and leave the stewarding to others.
Different stewards at each Grand Prix. Besides, Pirro isn't there to be the be all and end all of decision making. He's there as an insider who is an experienced racing driver to help the stewards make better informed decisions.

Alonso couldn't quite get past Hamilton using his DRS.
I'm pretty sure Alonso's DRS failed. I remember Martin Brundle commenting that he touched Alonso's rear wing during the pre show and hoped it was't him that damaged it. Alonso used his kers.

By these "no contact" standards, each and every divebomb made last year by Kamui Kobayashi at Suzuka's hairpin would award him a penalty.
Only two of them resulted in contact. One which was his fault and the other was blatantly Alguersuari's fault.

No he wasn't but it's really debatable as to who's fault it was. Different stewards will have different opinions. Was Hamilton penalized for giving Vettel a puncture at Silverstone 2010? No. Was Hamilton penalized for giving Barrichello a puncture at interlagos 2009? No. Doesn't mean he'll always get away with it. Depends on the stewards.

Certainly weird that Webber's car hasnt been up to snuff. He's still finishing high enough to earn lots of points for constructor's, but not enough to be close to Vettel.

The record is 7. Jointly held by Alberto Ascari and one Michael Schumacher.
He'd currently be on 6 consecutive race victories if it wasn't for his engine blowing in Korea.
