Judging by the Nurburgring webcam, I'd say the #145 Mini has had an issue since it was just visible on the back of a truck.

^^ beautiful lap by one of our Playstation bro's.... however I don't quite get how there is British GP racing going on at Nürburgring this weekend alongside the whole 24h event?? Is this going down sometime between tomorrows qualy and the race start on Saturday?

Ya, GT indeed :ouch: Thanks for clarifying that guys. It's like a logistical nightmare out there this weekend....

and for a complete non-educated guy of the British GT series, is this the norm to have 2 races per track for each event?

Not every event does it, but it is very common. MSA BTCC has several championships running on the same weekend on the same track. The Australian F1 race ran along side the V8S race this year aswell if i remember correctly. There are loads of other examples too, so it's perfectly normal. If anything a lot of drivers prefer it as it helps lay down rubber, especially if the track is green after a spell of rain, but of course, the main downside is the extra marbles.

Oh I didn't mean 2 different series, I know a lot of times for F1 weekends A1GP or F3 is running too, but it seems there are two separate British GT races happening.... again I unfortunately have much learning to do as far as most motorsports go... what is the purpose of of running two races?

Ah, my mistake, sorry.

Well, i don't follow British GT, so i can only assume it's similar to other GT championships such as GT1. My guess is they have a qualifying race and then race 2 is where they race for full points.

The events in British GT vary. You get some rounds with two races and others with one race, some of which are longer endurance type races.

Well Tree'd

The Team GT Academy car 123 has qualified 47th with a 8:58.235 lap

The 23 Team Nissan GT-R car is 50th with a 9:02.316 lap.

The top 40 cars go to final qualifying later today and this should be the first streamed event.

Well, goodluck for Ordonez, Yamamoto san, Yamauchi san, Tobi, and Chris!

@Chris
Can you give us a picture of you and your car? I want to see it!

Got into the top 40 quali. Ran a 8.42.7 and will run the top 40 quali aswell.
Congrats on your quali result and good luck in the race! Will be keeping an eye out on the streams for sure. For those of us not so lucky, have you found any car/tyre/settings combo in the game that comes close to feeling like your real car on the ring?
