Are those the final standings? Just want to make sure as I honestly thought I resubmitted my picks but if they didn't go through, that's cool. I just want to make sure that I can't pick the 18, 48 and 88 for Martinsville.

4th and no Wins.

If it comes down to the two Hendrick drivers, it's either Jeff's or Jimmie's.

This is one of the very few tracks where I would take the 88 over the 24. It should go without saying that you need to pick the 48 over both of them.

Okay I here you, but lets be real now, Jeff has a better average finish at martinsville than Dale. I'm sorry but to pick Jr over Gordon on a track like this isn't smart. I know it's been a while since Jeff's won at martinsville but he's scored numerous top five and top ten finishes since his last win.

EDIT: I would never pick the 88 over the 24 on any track unless it's Talladega...

Denny Hamlin "won" practice last week. He even won the pole. How did that turn out for him?

Oh and Jeff has been the fastest in practice so far,I know it's just practice but don't be surprise if he ends up winning this thing.

The race was ended because of the rain and he got a solid Top 5 finish. Like I said, I know it's just practice but don't be surprise if he ends up winning this thing. Remember he's Jeff Gordon.

Denny Hamlin finished 11th.

Even if he wins, you still lose by picking him over Jr. Thus, as MustangRyan said, you're ignoring common sense and logic. But guess what, I support your decision, because you losing, increases my odds of winning. :sly:

really conflicted about who to pick for this race. my gut is telling me to stay away from hamlin for some reason even though he has been so dominant in the past. he hasn't really looked that great in practice and his 10 lap averages are outside the top 10.

jeff gordon has looked really good in practice but something seems to happen to him every race even when he has good cars

Yeah, I'm with you Chances. I look at 'momentum' as a big factor, and Gordon's hasn't been great. Then, there's a track where he's dominant, so you know they apply extra pressure to get a good finish, which can lead to problems. I found Hamlin's averages a bit concerning as well, I think qualifying will be the determining factor for me. I'm not a fan of picking drivers outside of the top 20, when it comes to short tracks.
