Just adding to a decent day, GT5 has given me some good luck so far...

After 2435 days, I finally found, and had enough credits to buy the CLK-GTR Race Car '98 :bowdown: and picked up the Mazda6 Touring Car (I always see and already own the Atenza Touring Car) from the UCD. I also received a 1000 ticket, and got a Premium Audi 4.2 FSI R tronic '07 (which I did not own). With these 3 additions, giving me 690 cars in my garage I also got my very first gold chrome paint chip. :)

Made awesome new friends from some Hellaflush/Stance servers, reached 20 million thanks to the new seasonals and bought a crapload of new cars.
Also can't wait till the next update.
 
I got 25 million from my bob's :D

OP thats some incredibly good luck. But anyway I made some new friends online after midnight. Not great but not bad.

2012 is an awesome year for my GT5 already. I finally finished that stupid B Spec NASCAR Challenge, and Bob's already won the first two races in the FGT.

Gotta love it 👍
 
Last night I finally got the Ford Mk IV. Love it to bits, but sadly after 46 enjoyable kms it will sit in the garage undriven, mainly so I don't have to eventually do an engine rebuild, and to avoid crashing it.

I bought it as a collector's item, just to have it and show it off in photos. :)

So that made my start to the new year GT5 wise very good indeed.
 
@ Recon... Thanks! I can't really believe it myself tbh, I've been hunting for the CLK-GTR for ages...

@ Gtracer123... you will occasionally see a Mazda Furai in the UCD as well. There was one in Gran Turismo white in the same block as the cars I just bought today.
 
The '98 CLK-LM race car is a free prize car in the Mercedes-Benz AMG driving academy under the Special Events :lol:, that's how I got mine.
 
On the first day, drove around SSR7 with fireworks on in a open lobby... that was interesting.

Ok, wow... I just checked it out. I had an old\outdated version of the prize car list and had not checked recently. Did the prize cars change with an update?

I got a 2D today :D and afew other nice cars. The new Bspec races should have me complete my premium garage.

Need the 2J still but never had the cash.

Only if you like fast cars... ;) but it all depends on how bad you want it. I would wait to win it, but that's just me. Everybody has their own tastes and priorities, and only you can decide. You might try the market place section, but I have no experience with that tbh.

My day in GT5Land was pretty good... found a 02' Ford GT and Toms x540 in the UCD, along with a Nissan Cube <3

Go do the Seasonal B-spec race, that will level your Bob up quick, dont worry about his level just start the Spa event in ant Gt500 car and mkae sure you have Inters fitted wait till the water on track rewaches 0% then and only then hit the start. The AI will then start on R/H and it will start to rain so they pit at end of lap 1 you will take the lead and push bob from startline to end of the top strat section, cool him down then till you get past the last set of S's then push hime again, Pit lap 8 for R/H and keep him cool to the finish you should win by half a lap as you pit once they pit twice.

That should level you high enought to do the B-spec roadster, If you need a car for the roadster pm me and I will set you one online quarenteed win.
 
My Bob won the GTWC yesterday and got me the Zonda R '09 as prize 👍
Hopefully today I finally will be able to get the McLaren F1 GTR using my L23 ticket.
 
I'm away from home atm so I haven't been playing much lately :/
Back home tonight though, and hopefully getting all those lovely cars off the OCD! :)
 
Started off my night with 4/5 wins, ended up on the podium for 90% of the night's online races.

Just bought myself a 908 to see what it's like. Then, I'm going to try a few Seasonals.
 
My game is going quite well too. Game progession wise, nothing has changed. I stopped actively progressing and am now just collecting cars - actually more of the cars that I didn't want to buy or have sold off previous to 2.02 just because I couldn't change the wheels. So I'm on the hunt again to recapture all those cars.

I'm also getting real heavy into tuning, like actual technical tuning instead of slapping on some generic tune from the old GT4 days. It really suprises me just how fun a lot of cars in GT5 are... like the PT Cruiser... lol my god that thing is fun to drive and looks relative BAMF with wheel change. I've also found some love for TGTT as I always host a room in there... good for just about every type of driving but I love running laps on it. Quick and gratifying.

One major thing that has happened is I finally found the Black/Red Veyron, which has eluded me in the UCD/OCD since the game released. Problem is I didn't have enough money to buy it so I ended up cleansing my garage of cars I could do without. Now I need to go back and buy'em up again. Veyron was at the very bottom of the list, so if I did any events I'd lose it.

Otherwise, I look forward to more updates and DLC, namely a wheel pack. My fatty 80gig PS3 is still running like a champ. It's 3 years old, going on 4. Couldn't be happier with GT5 or my PS3... gonna be kinda sad when GT5's time passes and we all start again with the GT6.
 
The Pagani Huayra is no longer in EA's grasp. Let's see if we get a new supercar or two early this year! Aventador, I am also looking at you. And you, too, Agera R.

That's weird I am looking at ALL those cars right now.... But not on PS3.
