Nice service!
How long until the awards themself will happen?

The judges are still walking around (including Yamauchi) as of now. I'd give it another hour or so.

In a perfect world, all of these cars would end up in game and they wouldn't even need to bother with new age supercars like the Veyron/Huayra/LaFerrari anymore. Just a big Monterrey Weekend or Good wood Festival of Speed simulator. But that wouldn't get as many sales. But that would be my perfect game.

Awards presentations are scheduled from 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm local time. So that starts in about 10 minutes. I have no idea in what order the awards will be presented though.

I see Kaz in the background. On the stairs. Liking his jacket/scarf combo he is sporting.

I am VERY happy he is getting cozy with Ulrich Bez. This could mean good things in regards to Aston Martin.

And Horracio Pagani is there too. I hope Yamauchi has spoken with him as well. Gran Turismo 3 gave Pagani lots of publicity.

Ohh and Stephan Winkelmann of Lamborghini. As well as the design heads of both Ford and GM.

Good tidings indeed.

It looks like Yamauchi's wearing Jordan sneakers. O.o Haha, imagine that.

There's also a lot of whispering, like "What's that?...that's not....huh?....uh..Here's a Paga-...no....here the Alfa Romeo ...they're all Alfas..."

The announcer seems a bit flustered. Looks like he mixed up which Alfa Romeo 8C was which. And now he is mumbling under his breath. He doesn't realize he is on microphone. It is hilarious.

Kaz looks like a straight up pimp today.

On another note, there are 27 Alfa's in a parade and they all look beautiful

A real shame Gran Turismo culled the few pre-war cars they had in GT4 from GT5. Maybe he will change his mind on whether or not they should be added.

You guys appear to care more about his fashion sense if I'm honest.
Well, I did only comment when I saw Kaz. I would have commented on how screwed up the Alfa's are being presented, but it looks now that I don't need to do that.
:/

Seems like the speaker got all the Alfa 8C's mixed up...

That Alfa Tipo B looks awesome

Really. Why keep 4 different Fiat 500's, but cut out all the real, pre- WWII classics? I would have loved to use that Auto Union streamline(I think that was the name? I'm not really sure) and the 1880's Mercedes.

You're welcome. :)

I almost thought the announcer was going to say Inglewood, California. I would have thought that he would had to have stole it or something.

Remember that these cars with all of the exposed internals like the Mercedes and Daimler carriage would require a lot of effort to reproduce as Premiums (they would look horrid as standards). And they would only appeal to a small amount of Gran Turismo players (like me and you).

So I can understand why they left them out.

Grey looks SO good on these LWB 8Cs.

 I thought the same thing. The only difference is New Jersey, an "E" instead of an "I", and not ghetto. :D

O look an Alfa that isn't red.
it looks really good too.
A nice blue with that red-orange colored interior. I liked that one too. It stood out for some reason (not because of the color).

👍

Guy can't start the Simplex so the announcer has nothing to say, so he says "Yeah, that's a Simplex." xD

EDIT: Lol, the guy had to run and jump inside the Simplex....
