The pity with the Buddh circuit, is that there's nearly all the room one could ask for with on-track overtaking, and there's a nice bit of elevation changes. Somehow, it's not conducive to providing passing opportunities based on the current vehicle specs and tire degradation model of the tires. It's like a wider version of Imola, in that regard: fun to drive on, boring for spectators. But Imola was narrow, courtesy of being a 1960s-era circuit, so that was it's excuse.
Korea seems to be a lot like the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve; technical and demanding to a fault, but lacking the visual cues that make it interesting even if the racing isn't. That's the advantage of a circuit being a bunch of roads within a park, open venues, or a city first, rather than a track just built to mimic other racing circuits. I'm not impressed with Singapore as a night track - it seems like a ratings gimmick - all the reasons for using the local color and uniqueness of an actual city are lost on the viewer, in my opinion. Monaco would be a tremendous bore at night, unless the racing somehow became spectacular...but it's Monaco, so that's not happening.
Yas Marina just seems sterile as all get-out, once the Tomorrowland Design is all plucked away from it. Interesting for a while, but too narrow and seems to be a bunch of excessive 90-degree corners for the sake of design within the track perimeter's narrow confines. Seems like a big car park, with neat expensive stuff all around it, not unlike Caesar's Palace...
