Jimmie Johnson tweeted tuesday morning that Chandra Johnson will have another baby "We are so happy to share news that we're having another baby in September. Genevieve is so excited to be a big sister!"

I do like how my local station (From DC) spun that as everybody booing them because they're "a bunch of NASCAR watching redneck racists", with no mention whatsoever of Stewart vs Edwards.
And this was the sports segment!

What do you expect when you are getting a broadcast from the world capital of ignorant political spin-doctors.

Underlined and quoted for truth.

This could be interesting if it happens.
Chip Ganassi selling to John Menard? One of the hottest stories in the garage Thursday was intense speculation that veteran team owner Chip Ganassi may be considering selling his two-team NASCAR operation to John Menard. Menard, who owns the Midwestern home improvement chain Menards, is a long-time racer, and he is currently sponsoring his son Paul's NASCAR team, part of the Richard Childress organization. Ganassi and Childress are both Chevy men. Childress supplied Ganassi's two teams (with #1-Jamie McMurray and #42-Juan Pablo Montoya) with engines until this season, when Ganassi switched to Hendrick motors. Of the sport's top eight team owners, Ganassi this season ranks seventh in finishes. Of particular disappointment is Montoya, who is averaging a 27th place finish; Montoya's last top-10 was at Michigan last June, and his last tour win was at Watkins Glen in the summer of 2010. McMurray's seventh at Martinsville last weekend was his best finish in over a year.(MikeMulhern.net)(4-12-2013)

If it does happen it would even more bad news for RCR as Paul would likely go to the new team.

So possibly bring back Team Menard! I'm all for it too. It's kind of funny this broke news today considering I picked up an old Team Menard flag off eBay for 7 bucks.

This could change things for RCR and spread more rumors about Larson.

Interesting story to hear. That scenario leaves one to wonder though that Aside from possibly Paul Menard, Who else will be driving with this team? Would either Montoya or Mcmurray stay? or would the likes of Kyle Larson or Chase Elliot Take over?

Unless Gordon doesn't retire in 2-3 years Elliott will be at Hendrick.

Elliott is with Hendrick anyway, he's probably going to be busy with JRM in Nationwide for a couple of years.

Clint Bowyer: "You look like a fan, man"

Come to think of it, this injury kinda has turned Denny Hamlin into a walking billboard For Sprint

Honestly though, I think we get something much more massive in the coming years. I think either Chip will leave if things don't improve, or at very least he'll drop to a car. I'm not sure how much say Ginn and Teresa have, though.

Called it, but I didn't think it would actually be a discussion

Lol, Connecticut senator urges Fox to not air Saturday night's Sprint Cup race because of NRA sponsorship:

Says the NRA has "Radical Ideals". So, the NRA are now terrorist? Why do politicians feel the need to make themselves more hated with every passing moment?

I didn't think it would come up other but I wouldn't mind seeing Menard as team owner!

I went off on a rant for awhile on another forum about this issue with NRA, they need to get back to their job and stop trying to stir a pot that isn't an issue, NRA isn't some right wing nut job and educate folks on gun safety too. This same senator closed few mental facilities which they need to stay open (ill save you why) but those closing are never a good thing for anyone.

As nice as it would be for them to heed that advice, I don't see it happening anytime soon. Not so long as that psychopath Wayne LaPierre runs the place.

It would if everyone would stop getting their pants in a bunch and actually work together like adults to find where common ground is and atleast be civil about things.

The 4 sets of race tires makes thugs interesting. Now if Goodyear would make a decent tire, they could try it in Cup!

I find it pretty funny how many hate on Kyle for beating up in little guys but it's not that easy or why he does.

Another thing that bugs me is seems like alot of folks don't understand how money/sponsors work in NASCAR and why you see some cup guys in nationwide. They money a team gets from a sponsor carries across every team and sometimes it requires Cup guys to run few races for brand identity. I can name a few but then they think Monster Energy money doesn't actually help fund the KBM teams.

KBM still exists?

You didn't hear?

They've got Joey Coulter and Darrell Wallace Jr for the Trucks while Parker Kligerman has been signed on for the Nationwide Series.
