Well good bye Kyle.

Can't say I'll miss you since you were as annoying a Vickers back at Bristol causing tons of trouble so he only has himself to blame. Unlike Vickers he can't plow through the field to finish 5th.
 
Time to go grill and give my kid a shower. No more Dexter, no more Breaking Bad :( Boardwalk Empire is what's left to look forward to tonight. Thanks Goodyear for your junk tires, again.

If Maynard loves this track so much, why ain't he won yet! Shut up talking heads.

As will I, all while not having watched one bit of it.




Its really sad the sort of grudge people hold for certain drivers.

I know. My driver could have finished worse than 3rd. :p

Not the best race but there were some really good battles for the lead around halfway. Otherwise, meh.

That is why NASCAR needs to let other tire manufacturers come into the sport, which will force Goodyear to step their game up or be run out of the sport like every other racing series they were involved in. 💡

Completely agree! I think that's why some other series tend to have better races because no one gets lazy or produces tires that can run that long.

Exactly, what's really gets my about Goodyear is that they were probably the best Tires for racing during the late 80s to mid 90s and now they just seem to go through the motions for Nascar.
 
We need a good old fashioned tire war. Getting rid of say Hoosier is like getting rid of Ford and Toyota, forcing everybody to drive Chevy's.
Mark my words, in 10 years we will no longer have the makes involved with the sport. Every car will just be NASCAR branded, and every tire Goodyear because of money.

Well technically, we already had a taste of that. It was called the COT.
 


How could you guys forget this one from earlier this season? At least all of those other people made it to the start of the race. This guy didn't even start a single pace lap before wrecking his car. :ouch:
 
Watching/reading post race interviews it seems like most drivers were blaming the track surface itself rather than the tires.
