You mean why wouldn't they, right? Because they can and probably will.
I just want somebody besides Roush to give a hoot about non-Cup drivers.

Yeah, I was talking Nationwide.
I just really want Bubba or somebody new in the car, no Cup drivers.

Bubba has a good shot at the 20 next year not the 11. Joey isn't a true JGR driver.

Roush doesn't really give a hoot to some degree, he has strung guys along for awhile like Bayne who hell is what 4th season now in Nationwide...he just does what the thinks will get him money.

Sorry about that, yeah I meant the 20- got confused for a second there.
Roush dev. has a lot of problems but at least they have the balls to let Kenseth walk and put Stenhouse in the car.
Granted it looks dumb this season but in 10 years I think it'll be a pretty wise move.

To be fair, Kenseth wouldn't have won seven races this year in a Roush Ford.

GTPorsche
Denny Hamlin will drive the 20 NNS car at Texas, Drew Herring will race it the remainder of the season after that.

Surprising but not at same time.

Roush doesn't make alot of sense sometimes with his plan, Ricky is his pet and Matt saw the writing on wall when something came up. Matt has been the strongest driver there for years even on top of Edwards championship run. Ricky I don't think will pan out as hoped either and easily could be someone like Ragan or even Joey till year.

I don't understand why they went with the "early" Wonderbread car from the movie. The "current" one had a much better scheme.

Qualifying has been cancelled and Aric Almirola will be starting in 1st.

Because one might have more people to try to get the rights to while the one they are using doesn't. IT wasn't going to be a movie car, it is a Wonder Bread car and I think people are getting confused.

It's amazing that there are F1 tracks that are in high heat regions that have a track surface that is black as night. Yet, NASCAR tracks rapidly become grey after a fresh layer of asphalt. It will be interesting to see how COTA holds up.

Juan Pablo left his mark on Daytona until it's paved again 👍

Truck Race is boiling down, 33 on lead lap with less than half the race to go.

Caution, pit road wreck as entered pits.

EDIT 2. Big one, 7 trucks around in Turn 3. 27 to go.

EDIT: Big one #2. Buescher around, 6 others involved with 15 to go.

EDIT: Another wreck with 5 to go, Stenzel, Blaney, Hornaday

EDIT: Every Truck bar 2 wrecked. Kyle and others look shaken up. Wreck comparable to Cup Dega 2012...

Lofton is headed to hospital.

Ron needs his head checked in general, that guy is going to flat out kill someone. I don't care if he is such a good guy to all these drivers or whatever, he thinks he is owed something when he behind the wheel. I can't stand him over any other driver in any series!

Lofton has a possible hand/arm injury, otherwise it seems he's going to be okay. Here I was hoping for a 3x3 photo finish, but it came out much worse. Just glad everyone is going to be okay.

The Truck series race was fun to watch, with competitive racing from start to finish. 👍 According to Newton's Law *For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.*, that means tomorrow's race will be nothing but a 188 lap 200 MPH funeral procession with the still unchanged aero package. 👎 I will now post several classic Talladega races for your viewing pleasure:

You can also search for: 1989 Winston and Diehard 500's, 1993 Winston 500, 1995 Diehard 500, 1996/1997/1998/1999 Winston and Diehard 500's, 2000 Winston 500, 2001 Talladega and EA Sports 500's. These races in my opinion are among the best plate races of all time.

I'm gonna guess instead of avoiding the race at all (like I've been doing the last few weeks), you'll watch it anyway.

How about Timmy Hill yesterday in the Truck race?!
Granted I have a bit of favoritism towards him because I went to elementary school with him and I was a "guest" (Hot Pass lottery winner) of his at Dover couple weeks ago, but he had Paludo flipping on one side and KBM spinning on the other, and he kept going.

Good luck to all drivers and teams in today's NASCAR Cup race around Talladega. Almost anything can happen with such a wild card of a race like Talladega. This is one of those survival races. You don't win at 'Dega. If anything, you get lucky and fortunate. This one may just be the curve ball that will screw up the Chase standings heading into the final four races.

I don't understand why there's been so many injuries in NASCAR this year. Hopefully nobody else gets hurt before the season is over. :scared:

Danica usually runs ok on these big superspeedways, hoping for more of the same tonight.

JPM would be a good winner too :)
