Meh, I'm okay with it. Most of the redneck hillbilly fans are loyal compared to the hipsters who left because Jimmie Johnson wins too much, so can't complain there.

I hate it because whenever I say I like NASCAR people automatically assume I am a redneck, than when I tell them I also like F1 and sports car racing they are confused and than just think I am a nerdy redneck.:lol:

And my friends think I'm a black redneck whenever I tell them I watch nascar :D
 
I really doubt anything can really be done to completely fix that image.
I think of it like county stereotypes. A lot of the Brits posting in this thread have probably ran into some "'Merican" tourist who believe they should be dressed in bowler hats and have to be home by 5 to sip tea with horrible teeth. No amount of...... Well, anything can ever completely get rid of the stereotype.

The Brits are getting better, atleast the ones that I have come over to watch a race, and most of the time they enjoy it, and why shouldn't they?! There's a reason why it is so popular not just in the states. It's great fun!

Darrel Wallace Jr will be driving full time in the Truck Series in the #54 KBM truck. Gives me a reason to watch that series

Piquet Jr will run fill time in the Nationwide series for Turner Scott Motorsports in the #30

Yes, and the Cruze has been dominant in the WTCC for years, usually ending with 1-2-3 in races and consistantly being the championship winner.
