Stop with the legacy BS. Nobody likes it, and it's making you look like a 2 year old.

I don't think he is much older at times anyway but hell Ricky didn't exactly set the world on fire either in Nationwide which doesn't say alot either since Jimmie wasn't a threat much there either

that is all...

My first memory of Stenhouse was when he blatantly took out Scott Speed in the ARCA finale because he wanted to beat him for the championship.

Seems like every other day TBR is announcing a new sponsor, today it's a 14 race deal for the 7(Past few announcements have been deals for the 36).

SANY America sponsoring Blaney for 14 races: Tommy Baldwin has been gradually building his race team since 2009. He's endured a fledgling economy and has managed to maintain a presence in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Now, he's seeing his patience and hard work pay off. Tommy Baldwin Racing announced that the building continues, as they introduce SANY America to NASCAR as a major sponsorship partner for 2013. With Dave Blaney at the wheel, SANY America will serve as the primary sponsor on the #7 ChevyS for 14 Sprint Cup Series events and associate partner for 22 races, starting with the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway on March 3rd. The relationship was forged with the help of Al Heinke, owner of Mohawk Construction and co-owner of TBR. Started in 1989 by college roommates, SANY is now the sixth largest industrial equipment company in the world. With global sales of their cranes, concrete pump machinery, excavators, and other heavy-duty equipment, they reported revenues of over $12 billion in 2012.(TBR/140 BUZZ)(1-31-2013)

Must say I have a great amount of respect for how Tommy has built his team during what is probably the worst time to run one let alone build one from the ground up.👍

#7 was the #36 last season? And is TBR still a single car team?

I'm pretty sure nobody has won two consecutive nationwide titles before. That is what makes Ricky the greatest all time nationwide champions ever right behind Jack Ingram with 5.

Truex Jr., Dale Jr., Randy LaJoie, Larry Pearson, Butch Lindley, L. D. Ottinger, Red Farmer (3), Rene Charland (4), Mike Klapak (3)

That's because most Nationwide drivers now days don't stick around long enough to make that big of an impression. Once they win a race (or not at all *cough*Danica*cough*) they get thrown straight to the Cup series where they don't belong yet.

In my opinion, and I don't care what you think Mr ICE, greatest Nationwide series driver ever = Mark Martin.

Arguably Kyle Busch or Jack Ingram.

I'd have to argue that Kyle Busch is better, but I won't debate unless you want to.

So? Mark Martin has the most wins.

Like I said, my opinion. Screw your championships.

Actually Kyle does now but I'm behind what you say. Ricky is a good driver but 2 championships are great too, yet he didn't exactly just hit the ground and take off. If I had to guess his cup career, I actually think he will end up a lot like Mark too.

You guys will not believe who of all people have sent a letter to Dale Jr. Read this:

Dear Dale,

I hope this message finds you well. You can count all of us here at PETA—the world's largest animal protection organization, with more than 3 million members and supporters—among your many fans who will be cheering you on this racing season.

I'm writing today after reading that sponsorship this season is at a low because I hope that you'll consider using the available space on your beautiful car as an opportunity to spread a lifesaving spay-and-neuter message that would spare countless dogs and cats in your home state tremendous suffering.

In North Carolina, PETA's Community Animal Project rescues local animals directly—crawling through sewers, poking through junkyards, climbing trees, dodging cars, and coaxing terrified strays to safety. We go into the very poorest of neighborhoods to deliver food, doghouses, and straw bedding to neglected animals who have never known a kind word or touch. And we don't give up. Our fieldworkers return to check on the animals and replace old bedding, check the doghouses, and make sure that the animals have food and water.

Our SNIP (Spay or Neuter Immediately, Please!) mobile veterinary clinic also provides no-cost to low-cost veterinary services in the most impoverished areas of North Carolina for families who cannot afford to have their animals fixed.

As you no doubt know, each year 6 to 8 million animals enter shelters in the U.S., and roughly half must be euthanized for lack of a good home. Others who never find a safe haven are left to roam the streets, creating even more litters, and succumb to weather extremes, disease, traffic injuries, and even abuse by cruel people. By placing a message on your car that encourages people to have their animals spayed or neutered, you would be reaching countless NASCAR fans with the lifesaving message that fixing animals helps curb the overpopulation of dogs and cats and drastically reduces suffering.

Thank you so much for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.

With kind regards,

Michelle Cho

Associate Director

PETA

And here's the twist: They aren't paying to sponsor him

No disrespect, but Stenhouse has won his NW titles in the weakest time in the series recent history. Back around 2005, when Truex Jnr won back to back titles, the series didn't have start and parkers (not at least as many as now anyway), lots of cup drivers entered frequently, many full time drivers in full time teams (don't matter if one team is full time if they use around 7 drivers throughout the season.).

Stenhouse greatest or anywhere close? No.

And lets look at his cup record last year:

Daytona 500, start 20th, end 21st in a wreck-fest.
Dover, start 21st, finish 20th.
Charlotte, start 29th, finish 35th
Homestead, 27th, end 39th.

Hardly results to set the world on fire.

Most of Busch's NW wins are pretty much null and void. Yeah, it's really hard to win in a NW race with about 10 competitive cars out of 43, while having the best equipment in the field and more experience than most of the full-time drivers...

But he did finish 11th in his first race.

But he did finish 11th in his first race.

Trevor Bayne finished 1st in his first race, whats happened to him? Nothing much unfortunately.

And also going by some people's logic, Joey Logano must be an all time NW great with 9 wins last season

Bayne finished 1st in his second race, I think he finished 17th in his first race at Texas.
