I think if Earnhardt hadn't died we might of seen him do less and less NASCAR and more and more sports car racing.

And just like that, Kyle has lost my respect. First bump was fine, that second one was completely unnecessary 👎

This great photo was posted on twitter today by Jeff Gordon

After watching the Racer's Life program, all I can say is that Aric Almirola is the Future of Petty Motorsports!

Bob Pockrass is an idiot.

"Ford and Toyota aren't in a good position [to lobby NASCAR to make car changes to benefit them] because while the Chevys have been dominant, RCR has underperformed" (paraphrasing)

So, who won the Unlimited again?

Who had one of the dominant cars of the Shootout? Toyota with Kenseth. Ford haven't had a chance to show there hand.

I'm not disagreeing with his point (I doubt NASCAR is making any changes) but RCR is 1-0 in Speedweeks races right now. To say they are struggling is kind of an oxymoron.
And don't forget Pockrass's record so far. Who got told off by Kurt Busch? Who brought up Bowyer vs Gordon in 2013 first?

Pockrass is at that point where the attention he got from the Kurt Busch situation benefited his career, but he hasn't had enough elevation. So, he's going to continue to push buttons until he gets himself to where he wants to be.

The problem is, he's bringing up bad points and asking bad questions. NASCAR has no need to make changes after 1, non-points, 19 car race. Questions about the 3 brands being even need to be asked after a few races into the season so it can be better judged as to which brand has any advantage on the track.

To be fair the Pockrass comments where on a SirusXM show, and I think one of the hosts brought the topic up in the first place.

Still, kind of pointless to bring up that topic. That wreck halfway through the first segment took out Hamlin and Kyle Busch, so that was two less top-tier Toyotas on the track.

As for the Fords... I'm pretty sure there was a line of them behind Harvick for that win....

He by far is one of the worst in the garages! I have very little respect for him and his opinion as usually it's either to push buttons or some way out there idea.

I'm just happy we are in season now.

I'm calling it right now, Jeff Gordon wins his 4th Daytona 500 and gloriously ties Cale Yarborough in 500 rings!

And away from that dream... my surprise tip for the 500 - Trevor Bayne. Look out for him. With it being a new platform and a level playing field Wood Brothers have a great chance of victory yet again. Bayne was in top 5 in qualifying, was he not?

No. Just to wind you up I want to see Bayne push Gordon for 199 laps and then steal it from him.
