LancerEvo7Is this the first time all 43 cars have finished?
I could be wrong, but wasn't the last time that happened was that one race in Talladega that had no cautions?
Can't remember what year it was, but no body wrecked or piled up at all.
There was a cautionless race in 2001, but people dropped out with mechanical failures.
Gordon in the top 10 in points. 👍
Yep, debris cautions were invented to help Jimmie Johnson.I was also waiting for NASCAR to throw a "debris aka. Jimmie Johnson must win" caution with 5 laps to go, which amazingly didn't happen.![]()
Looks like you guys had a reason to watch the race today
Congrats to Newman, glad to see him take a pole and a win. I think there's no better way to send off your final season with your owner then to win as his home track. I think the Indy fans might have had the best 500 and 400 in quite some time.
But seriously folks (great album btw), aero dependency was a major flaw yesterday and today. The lead cars had smooth sailing, while everyone else had to eat snot.
2 of the 3 SHR cars atleast. Princess Sparkle Pony is 30th and 2 laps down.
